I promise it'll get better

chapter 6: exciting things!!!

Dear Jo.
Alex is the cutest little frog I think I've ever seen. Instead of getting a fish, Isaac preferred a frog but I said since they're more expensive, we would have to share him. Alex is so teensy and cute and he lives underwater in a fish tank so in a way that makes him kinda like a fish. He's the size of a quarter now but he'll only get slightly bigger. He's expected to live for a couple years so that makes alex a good companion for Isaac.

I cannot possibly wait until my birthday which is only a few weeks away. Plenty of time for me to make new friends and get accustomed to my new school. Which, by the way, the first day is tomorrow. I have to ride the bus, but Ms Carmen is going to drop me off and pick me up at the bus stop since its too far to walk and I don't have a key to the house yet. Isaac shall be picked up after I get home since his school is only a few blocks from the house and gets out an hour later than mine.

We saw Grandma Marsha yesterday for my birthday and she got me lots of books!! She got me some book series that I haven't really heard about like the hungry games (i think that's what its called), divergent, and the maze runner. She also got me some classics like the wizard of oz and narnia and stuff like that. All in all its been a great week and I'm so looking forward to school tomorrow.
