Crap, lunch. I thought in my head. I had a hard enough time finding my classes, let alone the cafeteria. My schedule had been my lifeline, it had all my classes on it and the teachers and the room numbers. But did it have the one thing I needed at that second?? Nope. Luckily, I found Mike and kinda stalked him but really I just secretly followed him until I found where I was going without him noticing me. See? Not stalking at all. Ok it kinda is. But not really.

It's a good thing that Ms Carmen let me bring my lunch because I was NOT (I repeat: NOT) going to mess with the crazy lunch line. I doubt anyone knew what to do, but did that stop any of them?? Nope. They still crowded in the lunch line rooms and screamed over their lunch. I only saw a few come out while I was eating my sandwich. They looked unhappy, too. Finally the line started moving, slowly, but it was moving. One of the first people in the line, Mike was among the first to be out. With food. I almost stopped breathing when I saw him coming closer to the table I was at. My heart was racing, my hands were-- "Hey Cassie. Whatcha up to??" Crap. "Ya know, just eating." "Haha, me too. Hahah!!!" Omg his laugh though!!!! By far the second cutest I've ever heard. (Besides Isaac's, of course.) I giggled as I carefully placed a small pretzel stick in my mouth and tried not to make it ungraceful. "Why are you eating like a Kimberly girl??" He asked while pointing at a table a few behind mine. Shoot, he noticed me trying.

"Hey Cassie!! Mmmm. Pretzel sticks." Yay!!! Abigale to the rescue!!!! As I introduced the two, who'd apparently had met before in another class, I realized that these might be my friends throughout my entire high school experience.
