It felt great to sit with the Keepers instead of in front of them, being the one interrogated. I knew how much I hated it, but still didn't feel pity for this girl. Newt sat on one side of me, Gally on the other.

Alby ran his hand over his head, stopping to scratch the back of his neck, staring at Teresa. "You're early." He finally said, folding his arms and leaning against a wooden post.

Her eyes darted nervously around the room, as if looking for her escape. She was very white, although her dark hair may have contributed to the effect. "W-what?" She asked, looking at Alby, in alarm. She seemed a whole lot less confident than she had been, throwing rocks off the Crowes Nest.

"That's because she hasn't got her bloody knife." Newt whispered to me, nodding towards a rusty handled blade in the corner of the room. "Came up with it apparently."

"You're too early. We don't get Newbies this early." Alby said firmly, watching her intently. "So, what do you remember?"

Stammering, she glanced around the room for someone to help her, perhaps for Thomas, but he wasn't a Keeper so therefore, he wasn't allowed in. "I don't know, just my name Teresa. I don't remember anything else, you're all crazy!"

The back of my neck tingled, causing a shiver to run down my spine. "You're lying. You remember something else." I said firmly.

Alby caught my eye for a second, I could see him trying to work out whether or not he should believe me, but went with it anyway. "Alright then Dead girl, Lip says you know something. So what is it?"

"Lip? Who's Lip?" She looked around at us all, her gaze stalling on me the longest.

"You know it's me." I said calmly, tilting my head to the side a little. "Lip, Tulip, Tuli, Erin, whatever. I go by them all, Teresa."

"Cut the chat Lip." Alby said sharply, and turned to Teresa. "You said Thomas's name, is it him you remember?"

"I don't remember Thomas, I don't know why I said that! I remember nothing, just like everyone else here." She insisted, a wrinkle forming between her eyebrows as she frowned.

"Maybe her memories were leaving her when she said Thomas's name, and now she's awake they're fully gone." Newt suggested, Alby nodded in agreement.

Again, I knew she was lying. "No, she knows more than she's letting on." I disagreed.

Alby blatantly ignored me, and took out the piece of paper she came up with. "And this? What's this mean?"

She shrugged. "I don't know."
First truth she told.

"Well Alby, I ain't no Einstein but if I were to guess, I'd say they mean she's the last Greenie." Fry said, looking around for people to agree with him. A good few people nodded, others just glanced at eachother worriedly.

"So what're we going to do about this Alby?" Gally asked loudly, trying to speed up the conversation. "Is Teresa lying or not?"

"I'm not!" She interrupted, "You're all sick for thinking I know more than any of you!"

How do I convince everyone else that she's lying and she does in fact, know something more?
"She's lying!" I said over her pleas, nudging Newt, trying to get him on my side before turning to her. "What else do you know?!"

"Lip please! Slim it!" Alby shouted, rubbing his forehead.

"I agree with Lip Alby, I don't trust this girl." Gally voiced, his eyebrows wrinkled into the familiar curl.

"Thank you!" I sighed exasperatedly, looking round at Alby expectantly.

"Right but we don't have any hard proof, okay, we can't just not trust someone because Lip's got some little feeling." He snapped, the pressure of this whole situation seemed to be really weighing down on him.
