Eliza shook up and down as Wilford walked up the mountainous incline. Maybe they shouldn't have taken this shortcut. Rachael wrapped their arms around Eliza holding onto her, it was a nice warm feeling. The ride's bumpiness however couldn't let her truly enjoy it. The mountain winds howl against her face, as it blows off little chunks of rocks away. Fluttering by are small birds and flying sharks, flapping and hovering on wide wings.

Eliza turned her head back and saw Mariam with her head hung low. Holding in her arms her companion, a native island girl to be precise. The look of fear and worry in Mariam's face seemed like her whole world's falling apart. Eliza couldn't honestly blame the girl, being marooned is hard after all. Then she stared at Rachael with their head hung low. Their golden curly hair swaying in the wind. Their crashing ocean blue eyes turned away as well. Yesterday they had only met, yet a strange sense of solidarity was present. A union unexplainable by words.

In the distance they heard a shout, a rather high pitch and jolly one. Eliza and Rachael swung their heads up towards the distance. Knowing exactly who the holler belongs to. It was Trey calling out to them! Their suspicions confirmed as a figure in the shape of a little boy waved at them on top of a small beak. Appearing from behind the peak next was a girl with a ponytail and a karkan with large serrated teeth. Joy and Wajajaga also came to greet them!

Eliza was filled with joy at the sight of her family! Yet they were rather far away, and Wajajaga needed to head back to an event. He needed to talk to his people, warning them about what may come. She turned her head back to ask a couple of questions, for safety reasons.

"Hey uhh how strong are you guys at gripping on?"

"Not much honestly, Mapi is better at it..." Mariam tried to answer

"Alright!" Eliza cut her off. "What about flying?"

"WHA-" Mariam tried to shout before being cut off.

Soon the beastly Wilford bolted forwards, moving in rapid speed towards the figures. Weaving and bobbing up and down, sticking his tongue out to enjoy the air. The passengers on Wilford were thrown around by the sheer speed and power. Eliza and Rachael were screaming of pure excitement! Mariam however was screaming in terror as she held onto her companion.

The wind flowing through her hair refreshed Eliza greatly. Rachael's cheerful giggles also filled her with life! Though the new guests don't seem to be enjoying it, and they needed more speed after all.

Wilford entered a pouncing position like a cat, determination shone in his eyes as he prepared. In a flash he leapt up into the sky, a good dozen feet off the ground. Wilford made powerful flaps that roared like thunder, lifting them higher and higher off the ground. Until they reached the clouds themselves, white fluffy yet titanic wisps.

Mariam kept screaming for a few seconds, yet as she opened her eyes and looked down she got quiet. Eliza turned around and saw her eyes grow with wonder. Most humans would never witness such a sight, yet here on this little island home such wonders are possible.

Rachael looked in pure wonder as well, sticking their tongue out trying to lick the clouds. Even sticking their face in one and having it stick to their face. Eliza couldn't help but tease and giggle at Rachael. They were so silly and enjoyable to be with. Rachael turned around and looked at Eliza. Making eye contact with an expression of pure life. Eliza gave a small grin back to them, she enjoyed Rachael as her friend.

Eliza scanned the ground and saw Trey, Joy and Wajajaga looking up towards them. Above here they appeared almost like ants, small and tiny yet to her so significant. Slowly she scratches Wilford's head, telling him to slowly descend while circling them. Wilford slowly closes his wings towards his body, softly dipping towards the ground.
