while bakugo walked away, the rest of them made their way towards what seemed like a cafeteria. y/n followed, intrigued by their weird dynamic.

their backs facing her, she looked at the big letters covering most of the back of kirishima's arm. from his shoulder to his elbow, the word CRIMSON was written in bold letters. she looked at his drumsticks. right, they all have instruments too.

they looked so cool. from the way the walked, talked- just overall acted. who knew there so many cool people she could've known earlier.

"my dad mentioned you guys were a band on the side." y/n spoke up.

kirishima looked back at her, listening to her with skepticism. "uh... who's your dad?"

they walked in the cafeteria, the tables all stacked up in a corner to leave a lot of space in the center. the lights were dimmed, creating a familiar atmosphere for y/n. it looked like a small venue. further up ahead, y/n noticed a drum set, a few mics and guitar amplifiers.

"right. we must know him personally if he knows we're heroes and in a band. if not..." denki asked, his back still facing her. he didn't finish his sentence.

she quickly noticed the black cross earrings dangling from his earlobes.

mina and denki took their guitars off their backs, taking them out of their cases. sero sat on one of the amplifiers, doing the same thing to his bass. lastly, kirishima walked over to the drum set, checking the drum brakes to see if they needed changing or not.

"uh... toshinori?" she said, confused at their question, since it was mentioned earlier.

the four of them all stopped what they were doing. denki shook his head, laughing to himself.

"sorry, i thought i heard you say all might's name. repeat that?" he seriously asked again.

oh right, they weren't there yet, she realized.

he put his guitar case aside and went back to his amplifier, checking if the amp was turned off and that all the volume knobs were turned down completely. he did the same for the volume knob on his guitar.

denki's guitar was bright yellow, mina's was pink and sero's bass, green. they each had their signatures written on them with a black marker.

"yeah, that's what i said. that's my dad... surprise...?"
y/n awkwardly smiled, doing the shimmery hands people would do at the end of a jazz dance.
