y/n tightly hung onto imani's hand as they presented the last song of the night.

"you got this!" imani quietly cheered for her.

the moment right before she went on was always the most intense and nerve racking minutes of her life, but then once her performance began, she knew all of those nervous feelings would sort of explode.

her heart pounded in her ears as she brightly smiled.

the band cluelessly presented her song. kyoka wasn't going to be the one singing it, she was. she couldn't help but laugh.

"i'll sit this one out, then." katsuki grumbled on stage, grabbing a stool and sitting on it as he gulped his water bottle down.

"yeah, just watch. i'm about to blow your mind." kyoka said, clearing her throat.

"tch. i fucking doubt it." katsuki smirked, crossing his arms.

little did he know.

murmurs filled the air as the audience waited for the next act.

after a few minutes of twiddling and turning knobs on the amps, the music started.

the sound of mina's guitar suddenly bursted through the venue as she vividly strummed on her guitar. she looked up, a smirk on her face as she walked to her boyfriend, kirishima. he chuckled, eyeing her every move as he began slamming onto his drums like his life depended on it.

the couple violently bobbed their beds with the beat, kaminari and sero immediately joining in to create a sound y/n was way too familiar with.

the lights on the stage changed colours from light yellow to a bright pink. it was illuminating the stage along with the faces of each member of no ground.

kaminari and mina were grinning from ear to ear as they jumped around the stage with their guitars.

sero was doing its own thing in the corner as always, vibing as he let his fingers do the talking on his bass. he abruptly lifted his head up to flick his sweaty hair away from his face. he was still shirtless, nothing but his guitar strap covering his tatted chest.
