Jada walks to the meeting spot, which is surprisingly at a gorgeous park. She spots Blake sitting at one of the benches making her want to turn around and walk back to the tower.

Blake looks up once he hears footsteps approaching him, smiling at the girl he used to love. Jada's shoulder starts to sting making her silently hiss, rubbing it in confusion.

"Jada! Hey! Nice to see you, you look great as always," Jada rolls her eyes and sits down next to him making sure to keep a distance.

"What do you want Blake? And hi, I guess," Blake smiles and tries to take a hold of Jada's hand but she quickly retracts it and slightly moves away from him.

"Sorry! Sorry you're just so-"

"Blake, what do you want? Honestly, I have things to do, bitches to fight and I don't have time or energy to deal with you today." Blake's smile quickly disappears and he looks at Jada with a look she knows well.

Blake laughs bitterly before taking an envelope out of his pocket, handing it to Jada with an insane look on his face. "This was slid under my door a few weeks ago with your name on it. I figured that some idiot mistakenly delivered to me instead of you." Jada examines the envelope and then skeptically looks up at Blake.

"Was that the only reason you came back to New York?" She asks her ex-boyfriend making him smirk and shake his head.

"I came back to try to get back together with you-"

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" She asks with a bewildered expression on her face as Blake looks at her with a tired look.

"No, we broke up two months ago and decided to stay friends. So she came to New York with me cause we share an apartment."

"Wait but she messaged me, asking to fight-"

"Her phone got stolen a week ago," he answers as Jada's phone buzzes in her pocket.

She takes it out and gulps nervously, seeing who it's from. Blake snatches the phone out of her hand making her frown at him.

"No way- you're not going to this location-"

"Uh-uh I am, and I'm going right now so I hope you enjoy your day! Goodbye!" Jada quickly takes her phone from his hand and gets up, about to leave but he grabs her wrist tightly before she can go.

"Jada don't you fucking dare go to-"

"Blake if you don't let go of me in the next five seconds I'll sandpaper your dick and sell the powder on the streets as drugs," Blake cautiously takes his hand off her and she quickly turns around and walks away, running into someone as she leaves the park.

"Fucking- oh, Hi Cole! How are you-" her breath hitches when she feels her shoulder tingling, she tucks her phone in her pocket and pulls up her sleeve, seeing a new soulmate mark.

Cole smiles at her awkwardly as she stammers then shakes her head, swiftly grabbing his hand and dragging him behind her. She takes her phone out of her pocket, checking the location that this unknown person sent to her.

"Jada I have work in like 10 minutes-"

"Damn I forgot that was a thing- this will take 5 minutes and if it does take longer cause I got my ass beat, I'll ask Tony to call your boss and tell him to go fuck his mom-"

"Okkkk you can shush now," he says nervously making Jada laugh. They get to the destination which is an old-looking apartment building, Cole grips Jada's hand as an unfamiliar feeling of fear hits his stomach.

"Hey, don't be scared, I'm making you stay outside," Cole tries to argue but Jada quickly cuts him off," uh-uh don't argue, goodbye."

Jada lets go of his hand, puts her phone in his pocket, and wearily walks into the building. She pats her thigh, realizing that she didn't bring a weapon.
