𝟭𝟱 | "𝗶 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿..."

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟰 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿

Steve is mad.

No not mad, completely livid.

And somehow Jada can sense it.

She's been sensing everyone's feelings since she got knocked out at the ball four days ago, which is confusing her.

She talked to Wanda about it yesterday but she had no clue what is going on with Jada.

So there she is sitting on the couch in the main living room, cuddling with Loki while Steve is doing something in the kitchen.

'𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲'𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴' she thinks, knowing Loki can hear her thoughts.

'𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲' Loki says back in her head, making roll her eyes.

'𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁, 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁!' she responds whilst looking up at Loki.

He furrows his eyebrows in confusion, '𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁?'

'𝗬𝗲𝘀! 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆'

Loki shakes his head and plants a kiss on her neck, turning the page of his book.

Steve grumbles in irritation and slams his hand on the counter, making it crack.

Jada jumps off the couch and walks towards him, "What happened?" She asks while staring at him in worry.

"Nothing, I was just thinking,"  he replies before giving her a kiss on her cheek, "It's nothing," he adds before walking away.

'𝗛𝗲'𝘀 𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴.' Loki says in her mind while watching him walking away.

'𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗵, 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄'

Jada sighs and sits back down on the couch, putting her head on Loki's shoulder, who smiles softly before reading again.

𝟮𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿

The elevator opens, Sam and Bucky trudging in after a long mission. They look exhausted.

"Hey guys," Jada greets them while looking up at them.

Sam gives her an tired smile as he drops himself into one of the armchairs, "Hi sweetheart."

Bucky gives her a nod of acknowledgment, before taking a seat next to Sam and cuddling up to him.

"How'd your mission go?" Jada asks when she notices their exhausted state.

"We went to a small village and took care of some Hydra agents that attacked the people, they burned down many houses. We managed to find a couple of survivors and took them away safely. They were all good people though, especially the kid we met." Sam says while running his fingers through Bucky's hair.

Bucky mumbles something into Sam's shoulder, and then turns around so he's laying over Sam's lap, head pillowed on Sam's shoulder.

Sam smiles fondly at at him and presses a kiss to his head.

Jada smiles softly at their affectionate display, then looks at Bucky with wide eyes, "Is the kid okay?"

"Yeah he's good, Fury's finding him somewhere to stay," Sam explains whilst Bucky yawns loudly.
