What do you do when you're trying to avoid your soulmates?

You make the irrational decision to go on an adventure with your favorite father figure!

Jada feels like her brain is about to explode just thinking about what happened in the tower. So, rather than confronting her problems, she decides to distract herself with Phil's so-called "mission" involving someone named Doctor Jane Foster.

They sit in a quaint café in Manhattan, waiting for the elusive doctor in their makeshift disguises. Phil, dressed in a cream-white long-sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans, and Converse sneakers, looks like a typical dad. Jada, casually dressed in a graphic tee and wide jeans, could easily pass for his eldest daughter.

"What if I just stabbed myself with that fork?" Jada muses quietly, her frustration evident as she stares at the untouched food on her plate.

"Jada, please," Phil says wearily, glancing at her with a mix of irritation and concern. "She only dated Thor for a year, before the Avengers even existed."

"Phil, why couldn't you just call that Emily Preston girl? She sounds nice," Jada says, her tone sulky.

"Stop whining," Phil snaps, his patience wearing thin. "And sit up straight."

Jada groans and slumps in her seat, mumbling under her breath. Her mood brightens slightly when a woman approaches their table. She is a beautiful brunette, radiating nothing but confidence.

Phil stands quickly, extending his arms in a warm embrace. "Jane! It's so good to see you!"

Jada manages a polite smile as she stands, shifting nervously on her feet. Phil's enthusiasm is evident as he pulls back from Jane, inquiring about her day. Jada's attention drifts to a strange object in the sky, but she is jolted back to the moment when Phil calls her name.

"Oh! Jane, I forgot to introduce you to Jada." The two women exchange awkward smiles as they shake hands.

Phil guides Jane to the seat next to him, leaving Jada to slide into the booth on the opposite side.

"We're looking for a man named Andreas," Phil says, pulling out a tablet to show them a photo. "He's with an organization within The Red Room."

"I've seen this guy before," Jada says, taking a bite of her food. "He's a Level 7, works with him on a few missions back in the day."

"That's exactly why I brought you two here," Phil says. "Jada, you're having issues with your soulmates. They don't need to know about this mission. Jane, you haven't found your soulmate yet, so you two are the perfect team."
