"I have a question."

"Uh-oh."

Sometimes Jada really wants to slap her soulmates and kick them where the sun doesn't shine.

But! She has self control, and doesn't want a 2 hour lecture from Steve.

She's sitting with Tony and Bruce in the lab as they work on two separate projects.

Originally, she was talking to Bruce but Tony loves to add unwanted input.

"Alright tin can, this is not a question for you, it's for my beloved Bruce."

Bruce smiles and takes Jada's hand, placing a gentle kiss on it. "You know I'm always happy to listen to one of your questions. So, what's up?"

"Okay, theoretically, if someone got knocked out and woke up being able to sense everyone's feelings. What would that mean?" Jada asks while looking between Bruce and Tony.

She's hoping for an answer, but they both look at each other like they're debating the same thing.

Finally Bruce speaks. "Well, theoretically that someone would be an empath, who is able to read and change everyone's emotions."

'𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲' Jada thinks.

She clears her throat and sits up, "What... um, what if I... what if I somehow earned powers, what if I was an empath? Theoretically."

Tony grins and leans his head against her shoulder. He squeezes her hand, causing Jada to smile and look away.

"Jada is there something you're not telling us?" Bruce asks while looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

Jada bites her lip and looks back down to their hands. She doesn't know how she got these powers but she thinks one day she will, just not now.

"Well, after I passed out at the ball it's like something clicked in my mind, in my body. First I starting sensing what everyone was feeling, then I could change their feelings, I didn't want to tell anyone because I didn't know what you would all say. I don't even know if I want to tell anyone else." Jada says, still not looking up.

She feels an arm go around her shoulders and a kiss on the side of her face, "Honestly I think you should tell Loki."

Jada pulls back to glare at Tony, he just smiles at her with those big brown eyes of his.

"Tony, I can't tell anyone okay! Only you two can know, I just said that!" Jada snaps.

"Jada, sweetheart. Look, I get it, okay? I get you're scared but the team will accept you. Nat and Yelena are your sisters! They won't suddenly hate you." Tony reassures her.

Jada huffs out a breath of air, she knows Tony is right.

"Can we drop this? Please? It's too soon for anything." Jada pleads with him, putting every ounce of pleading into her expression.

He stares at her for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay, we'll drop it for now."

"Thank you," She's quiet for a few seconds before speaking again, "I have another question!"

"Shoot," Tony says while taking his arm off her and leaning back in his chair. Bruce also moves over, giving her space.

"What if I moved into the tower, permanently?" She asks, her eyes switching between both men.
