Intro:

Reign Gallagher grew up and lived her whole life in the 'Back of the Yards' Neighbourhood of the South Side of Chicago. With her six younger siblings, a bi-polar mother that left them when she was only 16 and an alcoholic, drug-addicted father- life had never been giving to the girl.

Reign had always been hard working, she got herself every small job she could find growing up in order to support her family and while working three jobs she managed to put herself through the fire-academy, coming out the other side the top of her class at only 23, now at 25 she was determined to keep her family afloat.

Though her, one year-younger, sister Fiona took charge of most of the child care side of raising their siblings, Reign was the back bone of the family's little boat- keeping them floating just above to poverty line.

In becoming a candidate firefighter at station 51 and eventually becoming a fully-fledged firefighter at the house she had gained not just a job she loved with a clear career path, she also gained her second family.

Little did she know that one day her job would lead to her crossing paths with someone she hadn't seen since high school.

This will not specifically follow any of the seasons of the involved shows very rigidly. It will instead be some of my own plot points and ideas but all rights all the characters and some story lines remaining completely with the original creators. I only own Reign and her story lines.
