"Hello? Can I help you?....oh, the Gallaghers....Ian, Lip how are you." Boden stopped himself half way through the station floor.
The five siluetted figures he had noticed looking up at the cherry-red truck, turned around to face him. The five were shrouded by the dying late-afternoon sun.
"Hi Cheif. How are you?....Is Reign here?" Lip stepped forward first to address his sister's boss with an outstretched hand.
"I'm doing well young man, yourself?.....She should be with the rest of the house, eating." The older man told him eyeing the five youngest Gallagher children one by one. He shuck Lip then Ian's hands.
The younger boy looked oddly pale and frail.
"Can we come in and see her?" Debbie gave a pleading look, "please." She remebered her manners.
"Off course, I'm sure Cruz and Otis made enough dinner to go around. Right through those doors." He pointed behind himself before he continued on his way through the bay towards his car outside. "Remind them to save me a plate!" He called after himself smiling at them before he turned a corner outside and disappeared.
"Come on!" Carl tugged on Lip's arm before he brashly sprinted towards the white swing doors towards the familiar mess hall.

Reign and the other firefighters and paramedics all jumped, looking around the doorway corner, in surprise when the white swing door clattered open and in barrelled the disheveled little boy.
"Carl!?" She gasped with a confused expression. She dragged herself off of the kitchen bench and moved quickly towards her brother, "what the hell are you-."
"Hey Rei!" Lip came through next carrying Liam who instantly brightened and started clapping his little toddler hands and babbling "Rei Rei." Over and over.
Then Debbie came barrelling through a nervous yet gleeful look on her face, "Rei!"
"Hi guys what the hell are you four-."
Then she spotted Ian, slinking in behind Debbie a terrified nervousness about him. He walked like a man about to be sent to the gallows.
Her face softened.
"Hi Ian." She hummed.
"Rei, I'm so sorry for-."
"Are you back on your meds?" She asked bluntly with a small smile slowly creeping back onto her face. Carl had already ran off to fist pump Kelly as Lip hugged Reign gently and Debbie squeezed her arm in greeting. Lip passed her Liam and she looked pointedly at Ian, her gaze firm but kind.
"I am....I should never have come off of them, I know I act too much like Mom when I-."
"I forgive you. Now get over here and give me a hug." His smile flashed in its triumphant return he rushed her into a three person (due to Liam) squeeze. "I ever catch you off them again and I'll kill you." She mumbled but he just chuckled into her shoulder.
