Chapter 2

When I got home and decided to clean out the refrigerator and the cabinets. I haven't been here in months. I made a list and took Pete with me to the grocery store. We needed everything. After I got home and put everything away. I was actually feeling exhausted from all that work. I got ready for bed and grabbed my journal.

Journal 9/16

Today I came home for the first time since Owen took me. I feel as if I have accomplished something. I even went grocery shopping and cleaned the house. I am feeling happy and free. Tomorrow the plan is to clean my salon and run an add that I am open and call some of my clients and let them know I am back.

when I laid down, I actually felt as if a weight had been lifted off my chest and I feel asleep.

I began to see flashes in my mind. I moaned as my clit was pulsing. I looked down and I was being licked and sucked on while his fingers were moving in and out of me. I was moaning as Carson lifted his head and grinned at me, his face started to shift, and morphed into Carl's face with red eyes, I began to scream and struggle to get away when I felt the bite into my groin.

I was screaming and fighting with my sheets and covers when I heard pounding on the door and heard fierce growling. Holding my chest trying to breathe, Carson came busting into my room, he had partial shifted and his eyes were amber. His claws were out ready to kill who made me scream like that.

Pete my service dog jump onto the bed growling and barking at him in front of me, getting ready to protect me.

Carson was breathing heavy. Taking in the room, he realized I had, only had a nightmare. Pete my serves dog was in attack mode until Carson spoke, using his normal voice, down boy and pointed to the floor in front of him. Carson started to shift back to human. Pete ignored him, coming to me and laid next to me on the bed, his head on my legs.

I cried for the first time since I had been kidnapped by Owen and the MC Howlers. Wrapping his arms around me, Carson picked me up, and place me into his lap holding me tight, sitting back against the headboard.

"I think this is the first time you've showed any true emotion since the kidnapping. It's good let it all out my sweet girl. I've got you," he said quietly. I cried all over him and he just let me. As he rubbed his thumb on my thigh trying to sooth me and felt the scar. He tensed as he looked down, pulling my leg open. I whispered into his neck – Please don't say anything.

"This is why you can't sleep and have nightmares?" I nodded my head into his neck. "Is this the only one?" I didn't answer him and asked.

What are you doing here? How did you know I was here? Are you stalking me?

He rubbed my back as he told me he'd ran into Bradley and Kate after I left, and they both said you came home. My wolf and I needed to make sure you were safe here, so I parked down the street. But then I heard you screaming..." We didn't say anything more and I guess I fell asleep with him holding me, because I woke up to my alarm going off and my eyes were swollen and crusted over from the tears.

I got up and took a shower, letting the water soak my eyes and face. I just stood there for awhile soaking in the heat. I got ready, made breakfast and was just sitting down when someone knocked on my door. I went to answer the door and was surprised to find Bradley was standing there with three of his men.

"Bradley, um hi, Come in. I held the door open for them. What can I do for you?" I asked as they walked in.

"Well, I came because Molly says I need a haircut, and I brought these guys because they're going to upgrade your security system and windows. I sighed, shaking my head and said Carson annoyed.
