Chapter 12

That week went by so fast, monday morning jack dropped me off at work after taking me to get ready and for breakfast. Tuesday was boring and Jack had to go to Atlanta for an album cover shoot and for a meeting with his label but we facetimed before bed.

Wednesday was full of clients so I was running around like a mad women and jack was still in Atlanta. Thursday and friday were just like Wednesday with Jack still away and now it's Saturday, usually my busiest day in the salon but I've only had 3 clients and it's 3pm. Feeling bored I sit at the front desk since everyone else has a client.

While I'm sorting through the next weeks schedule a body carrying a giant bouquet of flowers comes walking in. "Delivery for ivy" he says. This is Jack's doing.

I stand up and walk around the desk "oh uh that's me" I say. The person moves the bouquet and its druski. "Oh shit hey" I say surprised. "Jack is still in Atlanta for a few more hours so he had me deliver these" he says putting them on the desk.

"Well thank you, he didn't have to" I reply looking at them. Theres Rose's, daisies, lilies and even a few tulips. I look at the note and smile.

2 weeks since that night and almost 1 since you became mine xoxo

Smiling I take a pic of it and send it to jack.

To jack: thank you baby <3

The girls look over and their eyes widen but they continue working on their clients. Dru pulls something from his pocket and hands it to me. "Theres this too" he says.

I open it and it's a necklace with a small j on it with his birthstone. That makes me remember the line in a taylor swift song.

While he was driving to drop me off I made him listen to the song, guess he took that line and ran with it. "What is it?" Dru asks. "A necklace with his initial" I answer smiling. "That's some domestic shit right there" he replies making me laugh.

"Can you help me with it?" I ask trying to put it on. "I gotchu" he says helping me with it. I look at it when it's on and smiles, I know this is all going so quick but it feels like we've been talking for years when really we went to school together but never got together.

Kinda wish we did though that would've saved us both some heartbreak. I send Jack a selfie wearing the necklace with another thank you. "He should be back tonight if not he'll let you know" dru tells me. "Yeah he told me yesterday when we were on facetime" I reply.

Stella finishes with her client and as soon as shes gone she looks at the flowers. "Holy crap, jack did all this? And it's only been a week? Imagine what he does at a month" she says. "Man is whipped so we'll see" dru says. "She is too, I'm stella it's nice to meet you" she introduces herself.

"Ahhh so you're stella" he replies shaking her hand gently. "What's that mean?" She asks looking at me with a confused face. "Jack may have said that you're my type" dru answers.

My eyes widen and I smirk stepping back a bit to reply to Jack's text.

Jack <3 : you're welcome babe miss u so much

To jack: miss u too <3

I look up and their talking quietly and stella is blushing. Damn okay didn't think she'd be into him. Madeline comes over after finishing her foils and admires the flowers then notices dru and stella flirting. "These from jack?" She asks.
