Starting this before I sleep lol

Last night jack let me sleep for a couple hours before making me eat again and then we went to bed. I slept in for a little bit and when I woke up he had ordered breakfast so we ate.
Now we are on our way to the scan. My knee is moving up and down nervously "babe it's ok, everything is going to be okay with the baby" he reassures me resting his hand on my knee. "Thank you" I whisper.
We get there and I'm given a few papers to go over before we are brought into a room. A few minutes after settling in a nurse comes in "hello ivy how are we today?" She asks. "Good, a little nervous" I answer. "First time?" She asks.
I nod "yeah" I answer. She nods and then I lift my shirt so she can put the doppler on it. "Okay the heartbeat is very much there, looking to be able 12 and a half weeks" she says.
She gives us all the information and a few sonogram photos we can send to family before we head out. Baby is healthy so far thank goodness. "This is exciting" jack smiles on the way back to my place.
"Look at the head" I pout. "Its so small" he smiles. "I know so cute tho" I whisper. "So are we telling them today or tomorrow?" He asks. "Now that we know everything is safe let's tell them today" I answer.
The girls are at work today so they arent home when we get back. After we've eating and I've had time to make sure it's not coming back up we decide to call his mom first to videochat.
She answers right away "hey what's up?" She asks. "Hey we just wanted to show you something" jack says. I show her the picture and her eyes widen and she gasps "really?" She asks sounding happy.
We both nod and smile. "Yeah, since I just got home from the last tour I couldn't get a scan done so I had to wait" I reply. "How long have you known?" She asks us. "I think I was already a month along when I found out and I'm 12 and a half weeks along" I reply also trying to do the math.
"When I was in New York and we met up for the couple days she told me" jack says. She nods "ahhh okay, so the babies healthy?" She asks. "Yes! Very healthy" I answer. "Any plans on a baby shower or gender reveal?" She asks.
Truthfully we haven't thought of either of those things. "Um we haven't talked about that yet" jack answers. "Uh well you've got time" she says. We hang up a few minutes later and I nervously text my parents to make sure they're able to video chat. A few seconds after my mom replies with a yes.
I look at Jack nervously "you ok?" He asks. I nod and take a deep breath. "I just dont want them freaking out because its non traditional" I answer. "Baby they should be happy we're creating life" he says.
They start calling me on facetime and Jack answers before I could breath. "Hey sweetie what's up? You coming to visit again?" My mom asks. "Yeah soon maybe" I answer. "So what did you need both of us for?" My dad asks.
"Well I've got something to show you" I say then I hold up the picture to the camera. Jack and I nervously watch their reactions. My moms eyes widen and I see tears start brewing. "Oh my goodness sweetie" she says.
My dad looks at it for a few more seconds "oh my" my dad says. "Surprise!" I reply. "So you are pregnant" my mom says. "When you asked me when we visited I wasn't, I'm 12 and a half weeks" I reply. "Was it planned?" My dad asks.
Jack and I both shake our heads "definitely not" I answer. "That's ok it's a blessing" my mom says. "Aside from the morning sickness yes a blessing" I reply. Jack nods in agreement "yeah it's not just in the morning" he adds. "I had that with you maybe you're having a girl" my mom says.
"Maybe! I've only gotten one scan done and I'm still too early to tell" I shrug. "I'd be happy with either" jack smiles. "Me too" I reply.
We talk for a little bit more and I tell them about tour and how I found out and told jack. I'm glad they're not mad. It shows that they like jack. "Are we telling your sister too?" He asks. She hasn't gotten to meet jack yet but I know she'll like him. Don't know about my niece she is hard to win over. "Yeah sure I'm gonna see if she is free to chat" I reply texting her.
Rebecca: yeah I'm free to facetime
She answers right away and her eyes go directly to jack. "Is this the man dad was talking about?" She asks. "He talked about me?" Jack asks. "Only good things" she answers.
"I told you he approved" I reassure Jack. "So what's with the sudden video chat?" She asks. I smile and show the scan photo and her eyes light up. "Oh my God, how far along?" She asks. "12 and a half weeks" I answer. "Oh wow, how are you feeling?" She asks. "Today? Really good, the morning sickness is kicking my butt" I laugh slightly.
Jack nods "why is it called morning sickness if it's all day?" He asks. We both shrug "no idea but it's also kicking my butt" my sister says standing up and showing a bump.
My eyes widen and I smile "oh my god! We're pregnant together" I say feeling excited. "Yes we are! When are you coming to visit we've gotta take a bump pic together" she asks.
"I'm not too sure but definitely before we both deliver" i answer. "Actually we're coming in a couple weeks" jack says. My head turns towards him "what?" I ask. His hand rubs my back gently "surprise!" He says. "You and your surprises" I giggle.
We finish talking with my sister and he puts on a movie and i lay down on the couch resting my head on his lap while he plays with my hair. "So 2 weeks? How long are we gonna be there for?" I ask. "A week" he whispers.
Damn a week back home. I love that.
As we're talking the girls come through the door and i sit up grabbing the scan photo. I let them settle in before showing them.
"Oh my god the head" Madeline pouts. "Right! So cute" I gush. "That's crazy" stella says. I nod and show my bump, it grew a bit more last night I think if you really look you can tell.
I tell them about going to louisville in a couple weeks for a week, thankfully that week I don't have many clients so they can easily take them for me. "Oh! And my sisters pregnant too!" I say. "Really? That's cute" stella replies.
For the rest of the day we just watch tv and I end up getting a craving for grilled cheese so I just make a bunch and they're gone by time we are going to sleep.
Jack lays down and I rest my head on his chest. "So I was thinking, would you want to find a place together? Or just move into mine and we can make it ours?" He asks. "I think for now i can move in and we can make it ours and then later on we can find a different place" I answer.
He nods in agreement kissing the top of my head. "It'll be less stressful then" he says. "Exactly" I reply looking at him. He smiles and pecks my lips "I love you" he whispers. "I love you too" I whisper back. His hand rests on my bump gently "and the baby" he whispers.
My head lays back down "I'm tired" I whisper yawning. "Go to sleep" he whispers. I nod and close my eyes letting sleep consume me.
