Chris's POV

"Guys... I really need to tell you something." I say to my older brothers.

"Ok" Matt sits on Nicks bed hitting his feet away driving Nick to sit up.

"Go on" Nick demands. I just got back from Layla's and Jaden had left ours before I got in.

"Ok so- so I did something last night. I was gonna tell you but then the whole Aiden thing happened and-"

"Chris... get to the point." Nick cuts me off.

"So uh- I kind of- umm-"

"Chris!" Matt gets mad.
"CHRIS COME ON SPIT. IT. OUT." Nick claps in the last three words.

"Ok I kissed Layla! Woah that felt way better than I thought it would. I've been holding that in all day..." they just look at me shocked.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Matt yells.
"AWH!! You! And Layla! CUTE!" Nick coos at the same time.

"Dude what were you thinking. Does Jaden know?" I stare blankly for a sec.

"Uh I don't think so if he did I feel like I would've joined Aiden in getting a punch if he did. That or he wouldn't of let me go and check on her." Nick smirks as I finish talking.

"You kissed her again didn't you." Nick figures out as I make a tight line with my lips.

"Dude you gotta tell Jaden."

"Now you sound like the crazy one! He'll kill me."

"Or he might just forgive you if you tell him and say you were drunk. DO NOT TELL HIM ABOUT EARLIER!" I pause and think about what he just said. That's when it really hit me. I kissed Layla. I broke the 1. rule Jaden has. What the fuck was I thinking? He's gonna break me in half.

"Oh my god your right. What did I do? I'm gonna call him. That way he can't hit me. And it's too late for him to drive back over. Perfect right?" I give them a shaken up smile. I walk back upstairs to call Jaden before I sleep.

"Hey Jaden."

"Hey man you alright." He questions through he phone.

"Yeah I'm good uh I just needed to tell you something..."

"It can't wait til tomorrow we've got lacrosse practice and we need sleep dude it's getting pretty late." He makes his point.

"Nah nah I get you but um- I didn't- I don't think this can wait."

"Ok go ahead I guess" I stare at the camera in silence. "What are you gonna tell me you fucked my sister or some shit?" He laughs through the phone as my eyes widen. "Wait? Did you fuck my sister?!" He asks getting louder.

"No! No of course not i didn't fuck- I didn't sleep with Layla but... but I did kiss her." I reveal in a quick panic.

"What?! That's so much worse! That actually has meaning"

"Man what kinda girls are you with" he smirks in response before shaking his head.

"Why did you kiss her you know my only rule. That's my little sister man come on!"

"I know I know it's just-" i think back to matts advice maybe if I say we were drunk- which we were the first time but- anyway maybe he won't kill me. "We we're both really drunk at the party and it just kinda happened." He pauses.

"Okay. I believe you. But do me a favour." I nod "act like it didn't happen. Then she won't expect another one. Got it?" I nod faster this time.

"Yeah yeah. Of course I can do that"

"Ok good, night man sleep well"

"Yeah you too." He hangs up. " I cannot do that" I tell myself. It's fine all I have to do is avoid her. Easy. Ill just follow some other girl around for the next two days. Simple. Right?! I hope so.

Laylas POV

"Nick? Has Chris been avoiding me" I ask the triplet as I see Chris make eye contact then practically run for the hills.

"What? Oh" he spots Chris running "I don't know. If you think he's avoiding you then why don't you ask him why. Or ask him if he's just being weird, cause usually that's the case." Nick suggests.

"Okay. Yours after school?" He nods indefinitely.

"Uh yeah I wanna see this."

"May as well get everyone over for the day." I state.

Me and Jaden get to The Sturniolo's place. I pull Chris aside to the game room down the hall to talk.

"Yo." He says bluntly.

"What's your problem?" I ask straight up.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't what do you mean me! Why are you avoiding me?" No reply. "Don't act like it's a secret, you've been doing it since you came over to my house. Is it cause I kissed you" his eyes go wide and his eyebrows raise. "It is!"

"No! No! No it's not! It's not that" I give him an 'I'm warning you' look and purse my lips "okay it is. I didn't mean to break Jadens rule but he said he would be fine with it if I just acted like it didn't happen and I figured I wouldn't be able to do that if I saw you , so I avoided you" he takes a breath after saying all of that.

"Wait. What?! What rule."

"You know. The one where Jadens friends can't try anything with you. No kisses, No flirting, Definitely no... you get the point."

"Right well... you coming?"

"To what?" He asks me as I grind my teeth.

"To watch me beat my brothers ass."

"Oh no." I turn on my heal and stride back towards the living room. "No no no. Stop it. Stop! Layla! Stop."

"Who does he think he is" i mutter to myself ignoring Chris. "Jaden?!"

"Yeah? Oh no! Why's she angry? Chris what did you do?"

"What did he do? More like what did you do! Did you make a rule that 'your friends can't try anything' with me?" He gives a 'why' look towards Chris. "So you did?"

"No" he laughs "of course not. Ok maybe I did. But is it that bad. I'm keeping you safe."

"Keeping me safe?!" How does he think that he's 'keeping me safe'??

"I wanted to protect you. I've seen you hurt and I just didn't wanna see you like that again." He confesses.

"That's not your choice to make! Jaden you can't tell me who I can and can't kiss. Your my brother not my dad! So act like it. Because I love you. But I am so pissed off at you right now!" He hides behind nicks shoulder. "You can't just go round telling people they can't kiss me or flirt with me! It's not your place! All this time I just thought your friends thought I was weird and didn't like me but it was your fault."

"Look I'm sorry. I'm sorry okay! I know I'm overprotective and I'll work on it."

"Yeah you will."

"Chris your a nice guy. You could be right for my sister maybe" I smile at him and give him a hug through Nick.

"This is nice" Nick laughs causing me to smile. I go and hug Chris before kissing him on the cheek to walk back over to Nick and Matt.

Jaden gives Chris a side hug "but seriously Chris if you even think about hurting her..."

"...Then you'll rip my legs, arms and dick off? Yeah got it." I laugh at the two.

We walk to the kitchen to make some kind of food for dinner. Of course me and Matt whip out some pizza and throw it in the oven for us and the others. I'm still mad at him but I'll get over it. And I convinced him to like Chris :) so. I win.

"We'll this is gonna be fun" I grin at Chris'a words.
