My head shoots back as Eliza point the nerf gun at my face. We're all at my house, me, Eliza, Jaden, Nate, Mads, Nick, Sicily, Matt, Chris, Nessa and Elmer... right now we're playing that 'a quiet place in real life'. Eliza is up, she has the nerf gun- she shoots it wherever she thinks a person is. Madi, Nessa, Elmer, Nick and Jaden are all out right now.

The only people left are me, Matt, Sicily, Chris and Nate. So it's intense. Nate falls of the counter making a crash sound and I watch as Eliza shoots him in the balls. This then causes Matt to laugh as the rest of us cover our mouths, Matt gets shot in the belly and carries a sobbing Nate across the floor out of the room getting shot again in the process.

"Ow Eliza it's Matt" Matt says matter of factly.

"Shhh" Eliza shushes him putting a finger over her mouth in the direction of a cabinet cause us all too look at the cabinet.

Back to the game. I climb down to the floor slowly and quietly making no sounds that Eliza heard. She points the gun in my direction making me sit still as Sicily gasps at the almost shooting of me - getting shot herself.

"Last round!" Nick tells through the room.

"Your going down Sturniolo." I tell the boy infront of me.

"Don't get me confused with yourself Perez." He points at me. I make a shocked expression with my face.

"Oh your on" I challenge. "How much?"

"How much you got?" He asks.

"Nick! Get my purse." I call. He passes it to me and I open it. "Thank you." I smile at Nick as he joins the rest of the group at the door ready to watch the end of the game. "I have... $1000" I state.

"Are you sure your willing to bet that much?" He asks genuinely concerned but i see it more as a remark.

"Yeah I am. All of it."" I relply.

"Ok. Let's go." Now ill be honest, I've made a mistake cause that 1000 is supposed to last me till I get paid cause I'm broke. So I'm crossing my fingers that I don't lose.

I cross my fingers and get I to position.

"Play!" Nate yells telling Eliza everyone is ready. They all watch intensely as we walk around Eliza point the gun everywhere.

I cross my fingers in hope of winning. Just as I walk round the corner, Chris walks straight into loads of dishes making clashing sounds as some forks and spoons fall to the floor. He gets shot in the back as he turns to dodge the bullet.

All the girls scream and run at me as I celebrate. "Yeaaahh!! I told you Sturniolo!" I scream in excitement. "I won. I really won" me and the girls all jump around.

Chris's POV

"Hey why did you walk into all those forks and stuff man?" Jaden asks.

"It was an accident... I didn't see them." I rush out as the boys all look at me.

"I saw you look at them Chris. You lost on purpose." Matt says as I look towards the girl jumping in the kitchen.

"Maybe but... look how happy she is that she won" I smile to myself as the others look over at her. I feel Nick's hand pay my shoulder twice before the guys all walk away. I'm the last to follow them as I can't help myself but stare at Layla's smile."

Layla's POV

"Is anyone else hungry? Should we go get some food form somewhere" Nate asks as we all nod along.
