Yap: ... Of course.
Soon, the IS Academy was completed, and Yap was Chifuyu's personal assistant (she negotiated with the other teachers/mentors to have him become her PA). He would help her by carrying her stuff to her class, where the students, who were all females, naturally asked Chifuyu if they could pat him or at least "borrow" him for a while. Chifuyu's natural response was no.
Students: Aww, but come on, Miss Orimura! Just for a minute?
Chifuyu: No means no. Now off you all go.
The students all reluctantly follow Chifuyu's orders.
Well, that usually happens in class. Outside of class however, if Yap's not aware, the students might just try to kidnap him. Fortunately for him, he's always on guard when alone. They may try to attack together in an attempt to kidnap him, but since Yap has seen shit for a kid his age, he easily counters or evades every attempt of them doing so.
Yap: Please, you're all students of IS Academy. I hope that you ladies can be a little more... self restraining, at the very least.
Leaving the students behind, Yap quickly retreats to a safe place known as the teacher's office. There, he goes to Chifuyu's table.
Chifuyu: Another incident again?
Yap plops on to her lap, casually putting his head back on her torso. Seeing as her favorite student/PA is here, Chifuyu decides to put off her work for a little while, giving Yap headpats.
Closing his eyes in contempt and letting himself be headpatted, Yap initiates a biological program called NoThoughtsHeadEmpty.exe.
Chifuyu: [He sure is defenseless when he's like this.. Still, I'll protect you and Ichika both.]
Timeskip
Few years quickly pass by, Yap gaining more experience and growing more mature while remaining as Chifuyu's PA. He has helped her managed meetings and appointments, whether in or outside the academy. And this one is no exception.
Yap: Miss Orimura. You've a meeting in a few minutes.
Chifuyu: (Takes a glance at her watch and sighs) Indeed..
Yap: I've all the necessary materials and documents organized for you. Is there anything else you need before you go?
Chifuyu: Let me think for a while... [Do I still need anything..?]
Chifuyu then looks at Yap for a few moments, causing him to tilt his head a little, most likely questioning what's Chifuyu doing.
Chifuyu: [I think I know what I'm lacking as well...] You.
Yap: ...I'm sorry?
Chifuyu: You heard me right. I want you to follow me as well.
Yap: (Is hesitating but doesn't show it, instead only standing still for a few moments) .. Alright then.
Gathering the materials and documents needed for the meeting, Yap follows Chifuyu out of the office shortly afterwards, heading to the meeting room. Knowing the meeting is usually either between teachers/instructors/mentors or outside clients, Yap wonders about the nature of this particular meeting.
Yap: [Usually it's only a meeting between teachers/instructors/mentors or some... clients of the Academy. Unless...?]
SoVR: (Cuts in) Unless it is something very important. From my deductions, it would most likely be representatives from other countries that will be coming in soon.
