3rd POV

Yap: [Hopefully so, SoVR... Hopefully so.]

The morning sunlight peeked through the curtains of Yap's dorm room, painting the walls with a warm glow. Unfortunately, the light had failed to rouse him from his slumber on time. As Yap stirred in his bed, he glanced at the clock and immediately bolted upright, wide-eyed with panic.

Yap: No way! I overslept!

In a flurry of rushed movements, he threw off the bedsheets, stumbled out of bed, and hastily dressed in his Infinite Stratos Academy uniform. Yap fumbled with his tie, trying to get it right in record time. The thoughts of being late for class and the responsibilities of being the class representative weighed heavily on his mind.

Yap: [SoVR, why didn't you wake me up?]

SoVR: [My apologies, Yap. I thought you could use some rest after yesterday's duel. But it seems I miscalculated.]

Yap: Yeah, well, right now, I could use some help making it to class on time!

With one last hasty glance around his room to ensure he had everything he needed, Yap dashed out of his dorm and down the hallways, rushing to class in a very hurried manner.

Barely entering the class on time, Chifuyu looks at Yap, before throwing a glance at the class's clock, and her watch.

Chifuyu: I almost would reprimand you for being late, class representative Yap.

Yap: A-ah. Miss Orimura. Apologies for being late.

Chifuyu: Well, I suppose I can let it slide this time, but don't make tardiness a habit, understood?

Yap nodded earnestly.

Yap: Yes, Miss Orimura. It won't happen again.

As Chifuyu resumed the class, Yap couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and gratitude. He knew that he had to be on his best behavior, especially as the newly appointed class representative. Throughout the day, he tried his best to fulfill his duties diligently, keeping track of class schedules, assisting his fellow classmates, and maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.

During break time, Cecilia and Ichika both approached Yap.

Ichika: Soo.. Enjoying your new position, Yap? (Slightly cheeky)

Yap: (Annoyed) No. I thought I had told you to settle it out between either of you becoming the class rep? Mind telling me just why you came to conclusion?

Cecilia and Ichika exchanged glances before Ichika spoke up, trying to explain.

Ichika: We did talk it over, Yap. You see, after our duel, we both realized that your conditions for losing were quite specific. It wasn't just about who landed the first hit on you, but rather about forcing you to activate your IS. You were putting the decision in our hands, and in the end, I guess we both wanted you to win.

Cecilia: (nods in agreement) Yes, it was apparent that you were more focused on testing your own abilities rather than winning for the sake of winning. So, when you activated your IS, it became clear to us that you won the duel, even if you had your own conditions for it.

Yap frowned, still feeling a bit perturbed by the situation.

Yap: But it feels like you two decided on your own without taking my thoughts into consideration.

Ichika: I understand why you might feel that way, but we genuinely thought it was the best outcome. Besides, you're doing great as the class rep. Everyone seems to like you in this position.
