3rd POV
Once back at the base, Chifuyu and Yap, along with Ichika rest for a while.
Command: Wie Sie vereinbart haben, Miss Chifuyu..
TL: As you've agreed, miss Chifuyu...
Chifuyu: Natürlich.
TL: Of course.
Ichika: Yap? What's Big Sis talking about?
Yap: It doesn't concern us both.
Smol timeskip
Meeting with Chifuyu alone later, Yap entered her room.
Yap: Chifuyu? You called earlier?
Chifuyu: Yep. C'mere. (pats the seat beside her)
Yap: (takes a seat beside her) You definitely have something to say to me. So go ahead. I'm all ears.
Chifuyu: (soft sigh) As you know, I'll be staying here in Germany for a few years, helping them to train IS pilots.
Yap: (slow nod) And I assume you wouldn't want Ichika to get involved.
Chifuyu: Precisely. Also, regarding your IS.
Yap: ?
Chifuyu: Why weren't you using it?
Yap: ... I deemed SoVR to be overkill. And call me paranoid, but them kidnapping Ichika means they've intended to lure you out for something. Whether or not they expected the German Army to show up is not something I know. However I can guarantee that they did not expect me.
Chifuyu: ... (headpats Yap without any warning)
Yap: W-wah?! (blushes a little from embarrassment) C-Chifuyu!
Chifuyu: (giggles) Ah, that sound you make every time you get your head patted... Did you not like it?
Yap: .. (Looks away like a tsundere) H-hmmph.. I won't deny that I do like headpats from you... but don't do it in front of people, okay..?
Chifuyu: Ufufufu~~ No promises~
Yap: Uuu... (still lets Chifuyu pat his head)
Timeskip
Ichika is arranged to go back to Japan where he'll continue his studies, while Yap stayed behind with Chifuyu to further his IS training.
Yap: You know how to clean up the house and what not, right?
Ichika: I'll be fine. But thanks for asking, Yap.
Yap: Heh. Alright then. See you once me and Chifuyu are back in Japan.
Ichika: (nods) Bye, Big Sis Chifuyu.
Chifuyu: (waves her hand) Bye Ichika. Remember to stay safe and take care of yourself.
Ichika: That I will.
Ichika then left for his plane that will take him back to Japan.
With Yap timeskip 2 weeks
Time: Around 10 pm
Location: Germany
By this time, lights were on, some had dinner, some are preparing to sleep or playing games. Basically they're going on with whatever they're doing. But for Yap and Chifuyu, especially the former, it will be a fateful night..
Multiple IS , 1st and 2nd generation, operated by females were sent as a task force to retrieve SoVR from Yap. Obviously this did not go well. While Yap has gotten used to blood, this incident scarred him because of something else.
