Chapter 14

Third Person POV

Rias: "Issei, what were you thinking!"

Issei was currently staring at Rias Gremory, the black-haired boy who was in the Occult Research Club with Rias, her peerage, and Asia who was still unconscious.

They had just recently got back from the incident with Raynare and Freed. Despite getting back safely, Rias was not happy with Issei.

Issei: "I don't see the problem, we're all safe"

Rias's eye twitched at the black-haired boy's words, sure they all were safe. But the crimson-haired girl didn't want to get involved with the Fallen Angels cause their actions could start another war.

That is something the crimson-haired girl doesn't want, after all, during the Great War, the devils were the ones who lost the most. She didn't want any more of her people to be killed.

So the last thing she needs is for Issei to go around and start trouble when she doesn't need trouble, she already has to deal with the stray devils and such.

Rias: "While we are safe and sound, what I want to know is why did you have to go and start a fight with the fallen Angel!"

Issei lightly glared at the crimson-haired girl.

Issei: "She was there, the one who turned me into what I am...The one who took my memories"

Rias: "You could have started a war!"

Issei let out a small sigh, he understood that he could have started something bad. But he couldn't let the chance for revenge slip away, he had to make her pay for turning him into...whatever he is.

Speaking of which, he still doesn't know what he is. Is he human? is he a devil? an angel? Fallen Angel? or something else?

These were questions that he needed to know.

But Issei had to admit that everything that's happening so far, feels...very familiar to him.

Issei decided to ignore it and focus on what was happening now.

Issei: "I know Rias, I know"

The black-haired boy looked over at unconscious Asia. She looked peaceful while in her state, Issei is glad that she is ok.

Rias noticed Issei's gaze.

Rias: "She is alive, but she might not wake up until tomorrow"

Issei grew a small smile.

Issei: "I'm just glad that she's ok"

He then turned and looked at the crimson-haired girl, staring into her blue eyes.

Issei: "Thank you, Rias"

Rias couldn't help but smile at the black-haired boy. Issei then looked over at Koneko who was sitting on one of the couches, eating some candy.

He walked over to her.

Issei: "Can I sit next to you?"

Koneko looked at the black-haired boy and smiled slightly.

Koneko: "Ok"

Issei smiled back as he sat down next to her, Koneko then offered him some chocolate which he accepted.

As he ate the chocolate, he remembered that Koneko was the one to deal with Raynare.

He knew that the white-haired girl didn't kill the Fallen Angel cause Rias ordered them to retreat, but he was glad that Koneko at least beat the shit out of Raynare.
