You hummed as you cleaned around the shop with your close friend. He was a blonde man with triangle eyebrows, also very tall. His eyes were a golden brown when normal but when he was a ghoul, both his eyes turned black and red.

You however, were half of a ghoul. One of your eyes was that of a ghoul, veins were constantly around it when even the slightest bit of hunger hit you but that was never much of an issue for you. You and your partner, Basil Hawkins were underground ghouls, there wasn't many concerns about hunger. You knew how to make coffee and how to hunt, and you had disguises.

You served as piercers, tattoo artists and mask makers for them. You both would switch from time to time, you mainly enjoyed masks and piercings while Hawkins liked tattoos and masks because he could just tell the clients their fate.

It was just a boring day before you heard the door open and loud customers walked in. Quickly, you put on an owl mask that covered only the half of your face that had the ghoul eye. You glanced at Hawkins who chose to hide from the clients to surprise them, a sign left your lips before you inhaled the air, taking in their scents.

They were unfamiliar. You could tell the scents of people, whether they were human or ghoul, but this one was confusing; it wasn't even a half breed kind of smell. Despite this, you walked over, with your hands cupped.

"Good evening gentlemen, how may I assist?" You said blankly.

The men stared at you, examining you closely. Your (H/C) (H/L) hair with an undercut pulled back into a ponytail, followed by dyed tips. You had eyeliner on and you had a lip ring. They were mainly examining your mask.

"I like this chick. She's cool looking." The man with blue hair said.

"Where's her partner?" The tallest one said.

"He's here...somewhere. Feel free to look around, talk to either of us if you need something." You said, turning around, walking away.

"Why are you staring like that?" A man said from behind you. You glanced over to them, seeing a red haired man staring you down as a blonde was looking at him weird. The blonde next to him already had a mask on.

A scream echoed through the shop as you turned around.

"Hawkins. We went over scaring the customers." You said with a sigh. You knew he was going to do it, however you payed no attention to him.

"I find it fun." He said, getting off the golden stand that usually held a mask for display.

"Hawkins?! You work here?!" The red head yelled.

"Please no loud voices in here, but yes. She is the owner, I work with her." He said with a shrug.

You chuckled and sat down on a gold stool near a counter. You picked up a warm cup of coffee and inhaled the scent. Sugar cubes were added but there was a twist to them, human blood was inside that melted nicely into your cup.

You took a sip as the redhead approached you.

"You do piercings, right?"

"Sure do."

"I want a tongue piercing done, Heat and Wire want masks and Killer is also here for a piercing."

"Heat...may I be so bold to assume he's the blue hair and Wire is the tall one?"

"Sharp eye you've got. That's them."

You nodded and stood up.

"Hawkins! You're taking care of masks today!" You yelled to him.

The blonde nodded before you gestured for Killer and the redhead to follow you. You walked behind curtains to your piercing station. It was a nice set up full of piercings and gothic decor.

"And you with the red hair, what's your name? The blonde is Killer, that I'm sure of." You said, walking over to where you kept all your needles.

You got everything prepared and began to clean off all of your needles.

"I'm Kid."

"Alright Kid. You're up first. Killer, what piercing do you want?" You said, as you gestured for Kid to sit down on the golden stool you had. He took a seat before you grabbed a marker.

"I just want a lip piercing." He said.

"Got it." You said as you instructed for Kid to stick out his tongue.

You put your knee between his legs, as you grabbed your marker, marking where the piercing will go. You grabbed your took to hold his tongue down and grabbed the needle.

Kid's eyes turned to a ghouls as his kagune sprouted from his back. You heard Killers grow from behind you as he sighed.

"You smell like a human." Killer said from behind you.

"I'm a half-breed." You said, your kagune sprouting from your back. Killer nodded and you heard it disappear. Your kagune went away as you pierced Kid's tongue, putting on the stud before wiping away any blood.

"You're all set." You said.

Kid got up and went to the side, his kagune disappearing as he looked in the mirror, examining his new piercing.

You carefully removed Killers mask carefully, setting it to the side before you cleaned the next needle you would use.

You grabbed an alcohol wipe and wiped around his lip before marking where the piercing would go.

"One or two?" You asked.

"One."

You nodded as you clamped your tool onto his lip before piercing through. You put the ring on and closed it before you wiped away any blood.

"You're set. You both look great." You said with no expression before you took them to the front.

"We make prices cheaper for ghouls than for humans. That's 500 beli." You said blankly.

Kid handed you a sack of money before glancing over at Heat and Wire.

"What about them?"

"They pay when their masks are made, which is about two business days from now." You hummed.

Kid looked at you with a grin.

"You're good at what you do doll face. I'll certainly be back." He laughed.

Your cheeks heated up slightly before Kid walked away, Killer following behind him as Heat and Wire rushed to catch up with them.

Hawkins walked over with a clipboard, full of their preferences and what they would want.

"These men sure make good customers." Hawkins said

"Yeah...underground ghouls we are but we sure do attract great people."
