You sighed softly, leaning over the edge of the ship. You had been with the strawhats for awhile, to the point you got your own wanted poster. A quest to find Sanji turned into you finding people who you could call home.

For whatever reason, after meeting Sanji, you felt compelled to finally put on a dress. Today was the day you put one on finally. You rested your arms against the wood as your dress blew slightly in the breeze.

Brook approached you, sitting on the ledge as he handed you a white rose right as snow began to fall.

"Princess. Care to join me for a duet? I'd be honored if you did." Brook said with a smile. You laughed softly, a small chill from the breeze visible in the air.

"Of course, soul king." You said. Brook extended his hand which you politely took as he led you over to the middle of the ship where he had a grand piano. There was a violin waiting on top with a red ribbon on it, as if it was a gift.

You let go of Brook, grabbing the violin from the top of the piano and inspecting it before finding a small note.

'Enjoy (Y/N). - Sanji'

You smiled at the note before you felt a scarf being wrapped around you. Brook carefully wrapped a sweater Sanji had knit for you around your shoulders, making sure it fit you perfectly.

"We don't need you catching a cold." He said before taking a seat on the stool, cracking his bones before playing a peaceful melody.

You nodded, taking the ribbon off of the violin and putting it in the pocket of the long jacket you wore over your dress. You took a deep breath before hesitantly beginning to play along with Brook. It felt just like old times when you used to play for the Vinsmoke family.

Sora always loved your music. She would always tell you how talented you were, how she wished everyone else would appreciate your playing the way she did. You were lost in thought, your notes being precisely and perfectly hit.

It felt like it was just you. Your dress blew harshly in the wind, yet you and Brook continued to play as snow continued to fall down, accumulating on your shoulders and head.

Though you didn't realize, the crew was watching you both play, especially Sanji. He was mesmerized. He remembered listening to you play when you both were kids. He wanted to tell you more than anything how much he loved the music. But he could never face you without getting embarrassed.

You began to sing softly, walking around the piano before going back to back with Brook as he began to sing with you. Despite not picking up a violin in such a long time, it felt like you remembered everything.

Your playing began to come to end, as did Brooks, your duet beginning to soften before you went quiet. He smiled at you yet again, tipping his top hat at you and standing up to bow.

"Thank you m'lady. Please, wait here." He said, gently making you sit down on the stool before rushing inside. Within a few minutes, Sanji came out from indoors with a warm cup of tea.

"(Y/N)— I mean..princess. I figured you'd like some tea...it's your favorite." He said, bowing softly with a tray in his hand.

"No need to be so formal Sanji...we've been friends since childhood." You laughed, taking the cup cautiously.

Sanji stood back up, holding the tray behind his back as he fixed the collar of his dress shirt.

"Yeah well...you know it's been years since I've seen you and I wasn't really so kind to you as a kid. It's been great to have spent this year with you." He said, averting his gaze.

You could only give a kind smile.

"Sanji, spending time with you will always mean everything to me over anything else."

"...Walk with me princess." He said, setting the tray on the piano with your tea and extending his hand. You graciously took it as he helped you up before you two walked to the other end of the ship.

"Sanji...what's this all about? You're never like this." You questioned.

"Why do I mean so much to you? We're pirates and you're an elegant lady."

"That doesn't matter, you guys have done so much for me!" You protested.

"You're a wanted woman now! I don't get it. Why?" He said, furrowing his eyebrows and fiddling with a lighter in his hand.

"I don't think you quite understand..." You said softly, cupping Sanji's face carefully in which he responded by putting one of his hands on top of yours. You stared at him with love, yet he couldn't understand why you did.

"Sanji. I left our home behind with no explanation. I begged for you back for years. I used to pray at your mothers grave for her to guide you home. We were never close but I couldn't stand knowing that you were gone. I traveled the sea to find you, and I'd do it a million times more. You have always meant the world to me. I'd walk the earth and swim to the bottom of these damn oceans to find you."

"Princess..." He muttered.

"I love you, more than anything Sanji. Princess or not, I would do anything."

"...I love you too (Y/N)"

You two smiled at each other before the blonde leaned in, kissing you passionately as the wind howled the second you two connected.

As you pulled away from your shared kiss, a small snowflake in the shape of a heart fell onto Sanji's nose. You laughed at the sight as he pulled you in closer by your waist.

You rubbed your nose against his, getting rid of the snowflake as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Sanji spun you around gently as you two looked out at the ocean while the snow continued to fall.

"I missed you, Sanji."

"I missed you too, princess."
