I am in no way claiming to write an authorized biography of the life of Carlos Marín.
I am writing this as I've seen many falsities written about him, and I think his memory deserves better than that. I've come to love, respect and cherish Carlos Marín and Il Divo in the past 18 years, that being said, I'm nowhere near an expert on his life or his personal situations that aren't common knowledge.
My sources include Wikipedia (VERY selectively, only choosing information that is backed up by the official Il Divo website), the Il Divo website directly, the official social media pages of Carlos Marín, Geraldine Larrosa, Il Divo, Sarah Joy Miller, etc.

That being said, I hope this gives those who never heard of him a chance to understand who he was and what he did with his time here with us, and for those who loved him to be reminded of him and learn things they never knew before.
