"Chris I don't know if we should tell them now, on Christmas." Evelyn paced in the bedroom as Chris watched her from the end of the bed.

"Christmas is the perfect time to announce a baby Evie."

"But they already aren't fully sold on me. What are they going to think, the second time they see me and we announce that we're having a baby?!"

Chris laughed as he stood up to grab her hand, making her stop. "They are going to be suspicious when you aren't drinking. And if they say something, I will say something back. I am beyond excited Evelyn. It will be okay." He placed his hand on her stomach, "and you're starting to show, we should just get it over with."

She groaned, "sure, just get it over with. It's only the announcement of our first baby."

He smiled as she sat on the edge of the bed this time. He knelt in front of her, "our first baby?"

She laughed, "is now really the time for you being cute?"

He grinned, "now is always the time for that, yes."

She shook her head, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Stop it. I love you."

"I love you Evie. Wait here."

She nodded as she watched him get up to go to his dresser, coming back with a small box. She smiled as he handed it to her. "Chris. I don't need anything. I'm just happy to be here in Boston with you."

"I know. But it's Christmas. Merry Christmas Evelyn."

She smiled, opening the box to find a necklace with two hearts intertwined together. "Aww. Chris. I love it."

He took it from her hands, putting it around her neck as he clasped it shut, kissing her on the neck as he did. "Our hearts are forever intertwined Evie."

She felt him bring his hand up to her cheek as a tear fell down her cheek, "I love you so much. I never thought I would find anyone to love me as much as you do. Especially not someone that knows all my past and still chooses to look past it."

He smiled, standing up as he pulled her up to him, "I don't care about your past Evie. I care about your future, with me."

Chris grabbed Evelyn's hand to make her stand up with him as he quieted down his family. "We, I.. just wanted to say a few things." He felt her squeeze his hand as he brought it to his lips, kissing her knuckles. "Right before we left Georgia, we found out that we are having a baby. As soon as we got here to Boston, we went to the doctor to double check and Evelyn is around 11 weeks pregnant. Baby due mid July."

Evelyn saw smiles on most faces as they all looked to Lisa to say what she thought first.

Lisa stood up in front of them, "it seems a little sudden, but if you're happy son, then so am I."

Evelyn sighed as Lisa hugged Chris before hugging her as everyone cheered. "Thank you Mrs. Evans. We are really excited and happy about this baby."

Lisa nodded, "I'm glad. And please, call me Lisa, dear."

Evelyn smiled, hugging her, "thanks Lisa."

Chris wrapped his arm around her, pulling her to him, "I told you it would be fine Evie." He grinned, hovering his mouth over hers, "we're having a baby."

She giggled as he kissed her neck below her ear lobe. She moaned softly, "Chris, you can't kiss me there."

He laughed, leaning to her ear, "sure I can. Come on."

"What?" She felt him grab her hand, leading her to a bedroom, "where are we?"

He chuckled, "my childhood bedroom."

She didn't get to say anything else as she felt his lips on hers, pressing her gently back against the bed. "Chris. Not here!"

He grinned, laying on the bed next to her, "why not?" He ran his hand up her thigh, under the skirt of her dress, "you don't like it?" He slipped his hand into her panties, finding her wet as he slipped a finger inside her as she groaned.

"You know I do. But here?"

He undid his pants as he positioned himself between her legs, "we can be quick." He covered her mouth with his as he entered her, stifling her moan as she bucked her hips up to him. He kissed down her jaw to her neck, "you still want me to stop?"
