Evelyn got out of the car as Chris stopped in front of Connie's trailer. She saw Tammy, her mother's neighbor coming out of the trailer.

"Oh Evelyn honey, I'm sorry."

Evelyn shakes her head, "sorry for what?"

Tammy sighed, "I came to check on her like I do every night before bed and she was unresponsive. They already took her body. I'm sorry." She handed Evelyn a card. "Number for the city mortuary for you to make arrangements."

She nodded, taking the card as she felt Chris's hand on her back, "thank you." She went into the trailer, feeling the emptiness of it as she plopped onto the couch. She felt Sebastian and Chris sit on either side of her, not saying anything. She couldn't cry, she thought she would when this time came. But she had cried so many tears over the years, she mostly just felt numb.

"There's nothing you can do tonight. Do you want to come home with me tonight?"

She turned to Chris as he carded his fingers through her hair, "yeah. I'd like that. Seb too?"

He chuckled, "if that's what you want."

She nodded, grabbing Sebastian's hand, "I do. I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry. You lost your mom, you can have whatever you want, Evie."

She nodded again, standing up as Chris led her back to his car. This time she crawled into the back seat, laying down as Chris drove. She looked up to see him watching her every once in a while. When they arrived at his place, she stripped down to her panties and bra, pulling on one of his t-shirts before crawling into the middle of the bed. Chris and Sebastian crawled on either side, Chris behind her, wrapping his arm around her as she faced Sebastian. She watched him watching her, "what?"

He shrugged, "are you okay?"

She nodded softly as he brought his hand up to her cheek, "yeah. We had a complicated relationship. To say the least. Thank you, for coming with us."

Sebastian smiled, "of course. Try to get some sleep."

She watched him move closer, resting his forehead against hers as she closed her eyes.

Evelyn woke up in the morning to see Sebastian watching her. She groaned as light entered from the window behind him. She felt Chris was gone behind her, "where is Chris?"

"He had an early call time. I don't have to be on set for a few hours. He told me to stay here with you until you got up." He moved closer, wrapping his arm around her waist. "Need me to come with you this morning?"

She groaned again, resting her head against his. "No I need to do it alone. Thank you though. Just... kiss me?"

He grinned, not saying anything as he pinned her under him, feeling her run her hands up his bare chest, up and around his neck as he pressed his lips to hers. Once they were done Evelyn sighed as Sebastian rolled off her, getting up to throw the condom away. She groaned, sitting up, "I need to get up and leave. I just don't want to.."

Sebastian nodded, pulling on his underwear before sitting next to her on the side of the bed, "I can come with you."

"No. I can do it. I've been preparing for a while. I just need to get it over with. Thank you though Sebastian. You're sweet." She brought her hand up to his cheek as he smiled, "I'll call you later?"

Sebastian nodded as Evelyn got up, getting dressed in the dress she wore the night before.

"Have to do the walk of shame home." She laughed, grabbing her heels before kissing Sebastian once more. "Thank you for this morning. And don't worry. I'll talk to Chris when I'm done."

Chris walked into his trailer at lunchtime to hear crying coming from his bed. He turned to see Evelyn crawled under the blanket, sobbing. "Hey! Evie!" He crawled onto the bed next to her, "are you okay sweetheart?" He saw her only shake her head as he held her while she sobbed until she finally calmed down. "I'm so sorry Evie. Do you need help or anything I can do?"

She shook her head as she pulled away, "no. I just got her cremated. There is no one to come to the funeral anyways. I just have to clean out her trailer. I just wanted to lay here with you for a while."

"Of course. Come here." He sighed as he listened to her cry for a bit longer before she sat up, wiping her face.

"I had sex with Sebastian this morning."

He laughed, "I assumed you would after I left. It's fine."

She shrugged, "is it? It's weird. I like being with you both. But..."

He sat up next to her, "but what, love?"

She looked at him as she rested her hand on his, "but the emotional connection is here. With you."

He nodded, "I know."
