The trio finally made their way home after an exhausting walk from school with the sun beaming on their faces. They entered the door to a crowd of younger children bombarding them, begging Amelia to read to them and whined to Lucía to help the workers with dinner cause they were 'starving'. Obviously they were over exaggerating but the girls enjoyed being a sort of parental or older sibling figure to these kids.

Unlike usual Wionna barged through the croud, responding to the kids with weak smalls and gentle pays on their shoulders before locking themselves in their room.

Lucía and Amelia looked at eachother, this wasn't the first time they'd done something like this so it was worrying but the girls had things they need to do.

Amelia sighed, "flip for it?"

"You read my mind" Lucía smirked and pulled a coin from her back pocket before looking down at the Blight.

"Royalty first, heads or tails?"

Amelia rolled her eyes and let out an irriated groan,

"Would you stop that!..heads"

Without another word, Lucía flipped the coin into the air before catching it then placed it onto the back of her other palm. Dramatically, she lift her hand and revealed a totally rigged coin faced up and showing the opposite side that Amelia had picked.

Despite her uncontrollable urge to punch Lucía in the face and calling her a cheater, what kind of a friend to Wionna would she be if she used violence to get out of a long, long, awkward conversation with them.

Amelia really didn't want to do this.

Though, after she battled her way out of an army of children she gathered her courage and made her way to the Park's door. She had did this many times before and like always, she froze. Once the silence between her and the person on the other side of the door became too loud, Amelia placed a sequence of gentle knocks onto the hard piece of wood, a sequence the two had made when they had just became friends so they would know when the other wanted to see them.

There was no response.

It seemed rude and unlike herself but Amelia decided to enter either way, she figured the two had a comfortable enough relationship and she was genuinely worried about Wionna.

She gazed upon her friend who was curled up into a ball, the room was dark and quiet, the only reason Wionna was visible was because of the light peering in through the now opened door. Something was seriously wrong. Park was a blunt person, straight to the point, slightly cocky but not to the point its annoying, they found comfort in music and, most importantly, they were honest, especially with Amelia. This was a sight the Blight hadn't seen before, there wasn't even a depressing song in the background to explain the mood, just silence.

With no idea what to say, Amelia calmly closed the door behind her before taking a seat on the bed beside Wionna, not knowing whether to say something first, mainly because she was terrible at it, or to wait for her friend to be comfortable enough to share what was on their mind.

A few moments had passed and nothing had happened, it was like being at a wedding without booze and full of snobs, just in pitch black. Amelia cleared her throat, preparing herself to speak but her mind went blank, her mouth opened but no words came out so instead she cautiously placed her hand onto Wionna's shoulder, in hope she wasn't breaking any boundaries, her best bet was to take it slow.

Much to Amelia's suprise, Wionna returned contact, placing their own hand over the Blights before slowly sitting up. Their face was slightly puffy, their cheeks rosy and blotchy but a neutral expression. Amelia couldn't help but stare, this was a rare sight, Wionna puts such a strong barrier, it's hardly ever they seemed upset.

"You wanna talk about it?" Amelia asked softly. She didn't want to pry but she had known this person for over a decade now, she needed to offer her support.

Wionna sighted then took off their steamed glasses and began to clean them with their shirt.

"Not really but I don't feel like talking about it right now, you know? It's all so raw, I'm not even really sure how I feel about it. How about next time we all have a fire?" Wionna explained rather collectedly.

Amelia understood, she never opened up to them or Lucía about their past until the 4th year of being at this home so she just smiled and nodded.

"I'll be here when you need me, Winn"
Amelia responded, earning the comfort of their friends arm wrapped around her shoulder as they rested the side of their heads against eachothers. It was nice, they were the closest the two had to siblings in that place and it was different to the usual chaotic environment there.

Amelia let the moment last for a while before standing up, catching Wionna's attention who she thought was about to drift off.

The Blight sighed, "I should probably go help Lucía with the kids, something about leaving her in charge screams danger to me"

This earned a quiet chuckle from Wionna and a nod in agreement.

"I'll be out soon"

Amelia just smiled and left the room. It wasn't long before her jaw dropped as she saw the Noceda ,who she had every right to not be responsible, whisk eggs in a pan above the heads of multiple children. She pinched the bridge of her nose in disbelief before walking over to help the girl, all whilst mumbling under her breath.

"Idiot"
