      All [Name]'s life, they always had a wild imagination. This was influenced from all their all-nighters spent reading books or manga, but it was worth it! They loved the world in each of the stories they would read. A dragon kidnapping a princess, but plot twist, she requested that as an escape from her mundane life?! How exciting!

Or, or - that story with a twist on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! The Queen seems to be evil, but she's just a misunderstood lady who's bad at showing affection, but actually loves Snow White very much. All the while her actual evil mirror-on-the-wall tries to get her to eliminate Snow white, but the Queen will have none of it and eventually breaks the mirror at the end!

[Name] loved each and every one of their stories. It was bliss to imagine themselves living in a world like the ones in their books. But their absolute favorite was a book series called Divinia.

Set in a world originally ruled by gods, Divinia was the tale of young protagonist Forrest's revenge against the King of Ceir, Vine, for killing his mother ten years ago.

With the rest of Forrest's quirky allies: a snarky librarian, a mischievous jewelry crafter, and a shy healer, they overcome challenge after challenge to grow stronger. And with this team, Forrest would eventually hold King Vine's head in his hands.

And in the epilogue, Forrest would come to marry the female lead, Demi, who is actually the ruler of Aeolus! [Name] loved this ship to bits since Demi originally disguised herself as a wandering flutist, and it was a huge surprise when she was actually a Queen!

Demi came to join Forrest's crew because of their mutual goal to take down Vine. Additionally, she loved how kind and considerate he was. Forrest never treated anyone differently because of their birth place, even though Aeolus's citizens were used to being looked down upon. And along with revenge, Forrest was fighting so he could also free the people in Ceir from tyranny. [Name] absolutely loved Divinia's MC!

They loved Divinia so much that they would regularly daydream about being in the series itself, as a side character.

Little did they know, their daydream would come true one fateful night while they were on the way home from the grocery store. [Name] was a growing child, and they needed lots of snacks for umm, nutrition and protein! . . .And maybe some late-night gaming.

They expected it to be a quick usual night trip, until they saw some drunk man forcing himself on a girl in an alleyway to the right. The girl was obviously scared and pinned down against her consent. She tried to push him off, but he just clung on harder.

[Name] stopped, the rustling of their plastic snack bag halting as well. They were conflicted. . .as a regular high school student, they weren't strong enough to take on the drunkard.

In addition, if they called the police, the guy would already be done by then and would escape into the dead of night.

[Name] gripped the handles of their bag tightly. If they just walked away now, the guilt would be with them forever.

They thought back to the mini pepper spray bottle they always kept on their phone's keychain. Their left hand folded around it, and they took a deep breath in. [Name] decided on a plan after seeing a concrete block in the alleyway. They would grab it, run up to the guy, and then hit him in the head. Next, [Name] would quickly pepper spray him and they would take the girl and book it to their house.

From there, they could call the police at a safe distance. [Name] took a deep breath in, it was now or never. And so, the plan was in action.

[Name] thought they went over every possibility in their head about the drunkard, but they missed just one.
