Right in a blink of an eye, nearly two weeks passed by since [Name] first woke up in Divinia. A part of them still couldn't believe it, while the other was ready to get up and continue exploring every part of Skya. Was it really just like the books?! They didn't know, but they wanted to. So ensued [Name]'s journey of going through every nook and cranny in the Ariti estate.
"Good morning, Young Master." [Name] passed by a servant who called out to them. They smiled at the servant before continuing their run through the halls.
At first, Lori Ariti didn't know what to think of his child's personality change. The original [Name] Ariti was reserved, modest, and did whatever he told them. Now...he would occasionally find [Name] sneaking in the kitchen for a quick snack, or doing cartwheels through the garden.
He was confused, to say the least. But he guessed it was a side effect of [Name] hitting their head so hard. You see, four days prior before [Name] woke up, the original [Name] suddenly fainted one morning. In the process, they fell face first on the glossy, marble floor.
It made such a big sound that Lord Ariti heard it from his office, and when he sent a servant to check on what it was, he nearly had a heart attack hearing the news!
I mean, his precious child just fainted and bonked their head on the floor. There was also a massive bump on their forehead, only making him more worried since no one knew why [Name] fainted. He spent a lot of money trying to figure out why, but all the doctors said it was from stress or lack of sleep.
Others suggested that [Name]'s magic awakening was soon, and it takes a lot of strength to conjure magic, which is why their body gave out suddenly.
Lord Ariti sat in his office for a while. He was worried that [Name] would faint again once they woke up, and hit their head even harder this time.
He wanted to prevent this at all cost, and that's when it dawned on him....someone who will be at [Name]'s side every waking moment...someone who will protect them from harm's way.
The Aritis once saved the Lambros family 200 years ago. In return for this enormous favor, the Lambroses dedicated themselves to serve only the Aritis for the rest of time.
At first, they were servants. Overtime they trained in both magic and swordsmanship in order to protect their masters. They then became what is known as knights.
Since then, each generation of Lambros has been looking after the Aritis all the way until now. Even if the day comes where the Aritis fall from fortune, the Lambros family has sworn to stay by their side.
Lord Ariti got up from his desk and peered outside his window, his hands at his back.
"Now that I think about it, I recall that the Lambroses have a son two years older than [Name]-" He then spotted his said-child in the garden, skipping cheerfully without a care in a world. They stopped at a rose bush to pluck one, then quickly resumed skipping.
Lord Ariti smiled to himself. "Yes, it would be good for [Name] to interact with people around their age anyways." He turned around and rung the bell on his desk.
Almost immediately, a maid knocked on the door.
"Come in." Lord Ariti answered.
The door swung open. "What can I do for you, Milord?" The maid asked.
"Please bring the son of the Lambros family to me. I believe his name is...Myles?" He smiled." I'm going to request for him to become [Name]'s personal knight~"

Three days later, [Name] walked through the mansion corridors with a large grin. Today was their, well, [Name] Ariti's, twelfth birthday and it was already better than all their past life birthdays combined. A ten-tier cake, a giant teddy bear, more balloons than you could count...this is why being a child is great. You get to be spoiled !
