After five long years, [Name] and friends have finally reached the fateful day where they'll set off on their journey to Trinae, the fourth largest nation. However, there's one last obstacle blocking them from setting off.

This obstacle being [Name]'s own father.

"Oh dear, how could this day already come!", the head of the Ariti family cried out, "My oldest child, packing their bags only to disappear from my life..."

"Father..." the h/c-haired individual frowned, before shaking their head and putting on a bright smile. "Please don't be sad! I already told you, we'll be gone for like a couple of years at most! Plus, we can just talk to each other on our communicators. Although I won't be able to have dinner with you, I'll always stay in touch!"

"But still, it won't be the same as seeing you in front of me." Lord Ariti wrapped his arms around [Name], squeezing them tight. "I swear, you were just a small child who relied on your father for everything!" he took a step back, still gently holding their hands. "And now... you've finally grown up. When you told me you wanted to go with Forrest to visit the other nations, I deluded myself into thinking that it'd be long before you would leave me." With a sniff, Lord Ariti wiped a tear from his eye. "How Goddess Destonia has played me..."

They giggled.

"Oh come on! Do you think it'll just be you who'll be lonely? I'll miss you too, father!" The corners of [Name]'s eyes curved upwards. "No matter how far I am from you, I'll always have you in my heart!"

The male was moved to tears once again.

"[N-Name]!" he sniffed, before tilting his head downwards. "...I--I suppose you're right. I'm being so silly at the moment. After all, what child will always be with their parent? There will always come a time where they will need to spread their wings and fly out of the nest, straight ahead into what the future holds for them." Lord Ariti lifted a hand up to [Name]'s cheek. "Still my child, promise me you will be safe?"

"Please do not worry my liege," spoke a red-haired male. [Name]'s eyes shifted to him. Compared to five years ago, the current Myles had a much more defined face. His burgundy hair was still kept neat and tidy, and his lilac irises had a considerable amount of experience in them. There was also a medium-sized scar on his left cheek, given to him in a duel with Forrest. He eyed the lord with a determined stare, placing a hand over his chest and bowing. "I will protect the young master with my life."

The lord's face softened.

"...Thank you, Myles. Though despite this seeming as a selfish request, I wish for you to come home safe as well." The knight widened his eyes before nodding and standing straight once again.

"Of course. I will do my best to honor your wish, my lord."

Then, a familiar cheery voice perked up.

"Lord Ariti, thank you once again for allowing Master [Name] to accompany me on my journey." Forrest said, a wide grin on his face. Similar to Myles, the protagonist of Divinia also glowed up. His tiny ponytail was now longer, and he wore a beige tunic with dark green pants that matched his eye color. If well-made leather boots on his feet didn't, then the sword equipped to his belt certainly gave him the look of an adventurer. "I understand this is an extremely important decision, and I swear that no harm will ever come to them."

He gave Forrest a gentle look.

"I'll leave them in your hands then, my boy."

Then, a lady with eyes as blue as the sky and a loose braid made out of pink silk appeared next to [Name]. The sophisticated, frilly pink and white dress she wore only amplified the elegant aura she gave off. She wrapped her arm around [Name]'s, parting her heart-shaped lips into a serene smile.
