Edward Nygma ~ Claudia

Claudia sat in the GCPD looking down at the floor as she fought back tears.
Her abusive husband was dead but what made Jim lock her up in a holding cell was that she killed him.
She stabbed him until he didn't look human.
She was playing innocence possibly.
Jim wasn't sure as Edward ran to him looking panicked.
"Jim, why is Claudia in a cell?" said Ed looking at his friend trying to ignore his feeling for her.
"Because she stabbed her husband twenty times," said Jim.
"He was abusive, that has to count for something," said Edward.
"He was abusive?" said Jim.
"Yes!" said Edward hating seeing Claudia in a cell.
"Alright, is there anything else I don't know about?" said Jim.
"No, can she at least sit in forensics with me?
Please Jim" said Edward.
Jim looked at her as she looked at him with these cold eyes as her hands clinged onto the bench.
She was insane and had been for a long time but because she was smart she could hide it well.
She was forced to marry at fourteen and with everything Darren did to her it was inevitable.
She stabbed him because it felt good.
Claudia sat in the GCPD still covered in blood and tears.
She wasn't sorry because Darren had it coming.
The only thing she regretted is that she couldn't kill him slowly as he deserved.
Edward knew something was wrong with her but after he ran to her apartment covered in police blood he questioned his sanity too.
Jim looked at her "If you want you can give her stitches.
She has a deep cut on her right thigh most likely from her husband fighting back" said Jim knowing if she would talk to anyone it would be Edward.
It wasn't the first time she had been in the GCPD but it was for plenty of different reasons.
"Thank you, could you get her out though?" said Edward smiling.
Jim walked over to her "Edward is going to stitch you up.
Just so your aware everything in here is on camera so I wouldn't try anything" said Jim.
"Do you really think that low of me?" said Claudia looking at him.
"Maybe, I just know that when you jammed a blade into Darren you didn't stop," said Jim looking at her as she started crying.
"I told you I didn't mean it," said Claudia lying.
"I know, come on," said Jim.
She walked out before following Edward to the forensics office.
She walked into the room and looked around.
Claudia sat on a chair as Edward got supplies.
She pulled up her dress to show the cut while keeping everything else covered up.
"Were you acting?" said Edward looking at her.
"Yes, why should I be sorry for killing Derren when he made me insane," said Claudia in a calm voice that was cold but feminine.
"I think it's amazing, I didn't know that you were this far gone," said Edward laughing.
"Im not far gone, my eyes are just open," said Claudia smiling.
He sat down next to her as he started her stitches.
She looked at him and smiled.
She loved when he concentrated.
"It felt so good, to stab him over and over knowing he was finally dead and that I now have the upper hand.
Have you ever felt like that?" said Claudia.
"Yes, when I killed it was incredible," said Edward.
She lifted his head and kissed him softly as he froze.
He dropped his needle and thread as she stood up breaking from her.
He hugged her and smiled.
He liked her for so long and finally, he knew she liked him to.
