Jasper opened her apartment door with a hollow expression and blood dripping from her body.
The body was gone as she threw her keys and flopped onto her couch feeling mentally drained as there was a knock on her door.
"It's open," she said sitting up.
Edward came in and looked at her and her dark minimalistic apartment.
"Why are you here?" said Jasper looking at him.
"I came to check up on you and in I wanted to make you dinner.
I have the ingredients" said Edward.
"Thanks, but if you came here to pity me just go home," said jasper.
"Im not here to pity you, im here to talk to you about something I ignored for a very long time," said Edward straightening his glasses.
"I like you, I want you in and I was wrong for picking miss Kringle," said Edward.
"Stop, you don't like me.
You need to forget that emotion because I ruin people" said Jasper looking at him.
"Please, I do like you," said Edward.
"I've killed before Edward.
On the way here I ran over a woman and I felt nothing" said Jasper.
"So have I, I killed officer Dougherty," said Edward.
She looked at him "How?" said Jasper.
"I stabbed him over and over until he was dead.
I then cut up his body and used acid to get rid of the remains" said Edward.
She stood up "I killed ten people Edward, why you still want me is beyond me," said Jasper.
"I like you because you are smart and selfless.
You are everything I want" said Edward.
"Why?
I know I keep asking for reasons but it just confuses me.
How can someone as kind as you like a monster like me" said Jasper.
Suddenly his lips were on hers.
He quickly broke from her as she stared at him frozen in place.
"Why did you do that?" said Jasper.
"Im sorry," said Edward.
Jasper looked at him as he grabbed his bag, heading to her front door.
Suddenly she grabbed his wrist and turned him around before kissing him knowing this was the worst idea she had ever made.
But in this moment she didn't regret what she was doing.

Edward cooked just like he said he would as they sat on her couch in comfortable silence as she thought about what was going to happen with her sister.
She loved Kristen but didn't want her in her life.
Edward kept studying her like she was a painting in the Gotham Museum.
It made her wonder if this was fate.
Only god could tell.
