Leta woke up in an unfamiliar place. She didn't remember how she had gotten from the cell to the bedroom. All she remembered was that household objects were speaking to her. Everything that seemed to happen in those few moments were just a blur.
She looked around the room and took in everything around her. She thought the room was gorgeous and it seemed no one had been in the room for quite a while. She did notice a beautiful wardrobe in the corner of the room and she walked over. Leta noticed the beautiful paint job and went to touch it. A snort seemed to come from it that caused Leta to jump back. It seemed to
her that the wardrobe was sleeping. 'Is everything alive here?' Leta asked herself "Hello" Leta tapped the wardrobe "Is anyone there?" With a loud yawn, the wardrobe seemed to wake up "Aaaahhhh" The wardrobe seemed to sing. Leta yelped and ran to the bed. Dust arose from the bed and got all over her. The wardrobe seemed to examine the girl and make its way
towards her "Look at you. A beautiful mademoiselle, but you are now all covered in dust. Let me held you" The wardrobe offered. Fear was evident in Leta's eyes. She didn't know where she was, objects were speaking to her, and there was a beast. All that she thought
to be a dream was actually starting to process as real to Leta "Who-who are you?" Leta asked nervously "I'm sorry to scare you mademoiselle, I hadn't realized I had" The wardrobe backed away from Leta a little bit "I am Madame de Garderobe" "And you're a wardrobe?" Leta questioned, unsure of what to say "I suppose so, now let me get you a new bet of clothes. Come here" Leta slowly lowered herself from the bed and walked over to the
wardrobe. Unsure of what to do, Leta stood in front of Madame de
Garderobe "Stay still" Clothes and ribbons flew out from the drawers. They surrounded Leta and seemed to magically stitched together. The clothes that she had worn seemed to disappear and new ones appeared.Once everything stopped moving, Leta looked down at her new clothes. It was a simple blue outfit, but she thought it was beautiful. She smiled at her dress then smiled back at Madame de Garberobe "Thank you. It's beautiful. I'm Leta by the way" Leta told her.
She could see what seemed to be a smile form on what was meant to be Madame de Garderobe's face "You are very welcome and it is lovely to meet you. Anything for a princess" "I am not princess" She informed the wolnan in front of her "Nonsense" Madame de Garderobe stepped closer and place what would have been her hands on Leta's face "Pretty eyes, proud face.
A perfect canvas. Yes" Leta took a step back and rubbed her cheeks "Thank you" She smiled. Just outside the door was Lumière, Cogsworth, and Plumette. Lumière had yet to inform his lover that her former friend was the woman that
had entered the castle. The only thing that Plumette knew was that there was a girl who had taken her father's place. She also wasn't aware that the girl was familiar to the prince "Need I remind you, do not scare the girl" Lumière told Plumette "That was already accomplished. The girl practically collapsed" Cogsworth remarked and Lumière ignored him "Why are you making such a big deal about it?" Plumette questioned "I understand she's scared, but why is it so important to not scare he even more?" Lumière sighed "Because you know her"Plumette had to think about what he said before she came to the realization "Sacre bleú. It's Leta is it not?" Lumière stayed quiet, so Cogsworth answered her question "Yes it is" Plumette became very excited "Let me see her"She pleaded trying to get past the door, but Lumière blocked her "You can't" "And why not?" Plumette stopped moving around "Because she doesn't remember us. You, me, the castle. The master" Plumette's feathers drooped
"If only she did. Her and the master could rekindle their spark. And we could also rekindle our friendship" "All in perfect time mon amour. All in perfect time" "Shall we go see her?" Cogsworth interrupted the couple's moment "Yes please" Plumette answered, getting excited again. Both Leta and Madame de Garderobe were unaware of the noise just outside the room. Before anything else could happen, the door bursted open. In stepped Lumière and Cogsworth "I see you have met Madame de Garderobe, a great singer" Lumière chimed in "When she can stay awake" Cogsworth added "Cogsworth, a diva needs her beauty reesstt..." Madame de Garderobe
started before falling asleep "Stay with us Madame, I see you have met our guest" Lumière woke her "Yes I have Lumière. Leta is her name. Isn't she beautiful?" Made de Garderobe said in awe "Why yes she is" Mrs. Potts came in on a rolling tray "Look at you. A true
beauty at that. I'm Mrs. Potts" "And I'm Chip" A little teacup hoped around. Leta giggled and picked him up "Why aren't you the cutest thing!?" Leta expressed and Chip smiled "Why that you Ms. Chip said "It's Leta" Leta set Chip back down on the tray "Can
you all talk?" She walked over to pick up a brush from the dresser. None of the
servants stopped her even though they should have. She tried to saying hello to it, but nothing happened "That's just a brush mademoiselle" Lumière informed her "Whoops" Leta laughed, setting the brush down and walking back
over to everyone "Can I get you anything?" Mrs. Potts asked "Like a cup of tea?" "A cup of tea would be nice, thank you" Leta responded. Chip hopped over to his mother and she poured the tea. Chip then hopped back over to where Leta was and she picked him up. As Leta drank, Chip giggled "That tickles. Want to see me do a
trick?" Leta nodded and Chip blew a bubble of tea. She and the rest of the
servants giggled except for Mrs. Potts "Chip" She scowled "He's fine" Leta told Mrs. Potts, which seemed to calm the teapot "I never got your name" Leta pointed at the feather duster. Plumette seemed nervous at first. She didn't know how to initially introduce herself to someone who forgot her. Though the master may have tried to avoid the very thought of Leta, she didn't. She had
missed her, for she was her only friend. Sure she had Cogsworth, Lumière, Madame de Garderobe, Maestro Cadenza, Mrs. Potts, and Chip, no one else really took to her. Leta always remained a though in Plumette's head "I am Plumette. It is wonderful to meet you mademoiselle" Plumette greeted "It's wonderful to meet you as well. Your name sounds familiar" Leta replied. Plumette got a little bit excited, but not completely. For she knew it was
going to take more than a name for Leta to remember her "Must be common"Plumette brushed off the subject and exited the room. No one followed her, which she was grateful for. Plumette made her way to find someone who understood her pain. She made her way to the West Wing. Once arriving on at her master's door, she slowly opened it "Master? Are you in there?" She asked, peaking around the door "What is it that you want Plumette?" The prince asked in a scruffy voice "Mind if I come in?" "Of course not." Plumette flew in and found the prince on his bed. She
floated there and examined him "What is it?" He asked "You look sad is all"Plumette commented "As do you. It's about Leta isn't it?" Plumette was silent for a few moments "Yes it is. I've missed having her in the castle. She was only here once for a little while and I've missed her company. Surely you have as well" The prince scoffed and got up from his bed "Of course I did Plumette. I wanted her to be the one, no more girls. But then that enchantress had
to come in and ruin everything" He made his way to the rose "She'll
never fall in love with me" Plumette flew over to him "How do you know if you haven't tried? Have you even tried introducing yourself to her?" "I'll scare her. I'm pretty sure I already have. She sees me as the monster that locked her father away and now she feels trapped. I'm a monster and I don't deserve love" "Of course you do. Just try, it won't hurt anyone" Plumette tried to soothe the prince's broken heart "What do you suggest?" He turned and asked the feather duster "Ask her to dinner" Plumette responded "And be gentle about it. She won't see you as a monster after that" She then turned around and headed for the door. Just as Plumette was about to leave, the prince began speaking "Thank you Plumette. Will you be there if I need help?" "Of course mousier and you are very welcome. Meet me at Leta's door when you are ready" "I will be there" The prince then repeated quietly once Plumette was gone "I will be there"
