There Agathe stood, or in other words, the enchantress. She could sense from the first time she laid eyes upon Theseus and Leta that they both held love for each other. Leta had broken through her curse of forgetting the whole experience had happened and learned to love him before it all even happened. Agathe made the rose petals come back to life and they enveloped
Theseus. He was lifted off of the ground and he began to transform. Leta stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes. There he stood, now in front of her. He was once again human.
Theseus turned around and looked at her. Leta slowly approached him, wrapping her arms around his neck and inspecting his face. She met his eyes and she truly knew it was him. Leta jumped into his arms and he wrapped his hands around her waist. He spun her around before placing her back on the ground. With one more longing look, Leta lunged in to kiss him. No words were needed between the pair because they knew where they were supposed to be. It was a kiss that was too long awaited. Theseus responded quickly, pulling her as close as possible. Their lips melded together and seemed to fit one another. It was filled with love, passion, and longing. It was a moment that the two had waited such a long time for. Around them, the castle began to loose it dark image and back to its once beautiful nature. Everything fell back together. The sun reappeared and the snow soon melted. Belle watch as the objects turned back into people. FrouFrou peed on Chapeau and then saw Belle and ran for her. She lifted the dog into her arms and moved closer to the staff "Maestro"Madame de Garderobe sang out.
Ribbons fell around the two as they embraced. Cogsworth had as well
turned back to the way he was "Lumiere?" Cogsworth inspected "Cogsworth, we beat the clock" Lumiere spoke "Mon ami" Cogsworth said as they hugged "Plumette" Lumiere ran over to her and helped her out of the pile of feathers "Plumette. Oh, mon amour" The two shared a long awaited kiss. The tray Mrs. Potts and Chip were on began to roll. Cogsworth worth stopped it, causing for the teapot and teacup to fly into the air. They then turned human and slid down the stairs on the tray "Chip? Oh look at you! You're a little boy again! What did I tell you, darling. Oh, you smell so good"Mrs. Potts hugged her son as Chip
giggled. The villagers had once again arrived and Belle walked up the stairs,
setting the dog down. She introduced herself "I'm Belle. Leta's friend from the village. Does anyone happen to know where she is?" They all shook their heads no. Just then, Monsieur Jean made his way up to his family "Darling?" "Mr. Potts!" Mrs. Potts exclaimed and the mother and son made their way towards him. Belle smiled as the happy family reunited "Henry? Henry!?" Clothilde spoke to her husband "Oh dear" Cogsworth grumbled "I've been so lonely" She said as they hugged "Turn back into a clock. Turn back into a clock" He wished, but he knew there was no escaping now "Lumiere, look"Plumette smiled as she saw Theseus and Leta exit the castle together, hand in hand "Oh, my Prince" Lumiere bowed and Plumette curtsied "Hello, old friend" Theseus and Lumiere embraced.
Leta ran to Plumette and gave her the biggest hug ever "Oh how I missed you" "I missed you too" The two women hugged. Lumiere reached over and kissed Leta's hand. Belle made her way
through the crowd and grabbed Leta "I'm so glad your safe" Belle held onto her best friend tightly "I told you I would" Leta pulled away from her "Have you met Plumette?" Belle nodded and the two girls embraced. She knew that she would have friends within the castle that she could depend on. In the crowd, the two girls saw their fathers. Leta dragged Theseus over to her father "Oh, I almost forgot. Belle meet Theseus. Theseus meet Belle" She introduced the two. Theseus shook Belle's hand "Nice to know there is one person who understands her" Leta looked up at Theseus and pecked him on the lips. Belle fake gagged and they walked over to their fathers. Theseus was a little nervous, seeing as this was the man he had locked up. Phillip watched his daughter, who seemed happy to be with the man standing before him "Papa, meet Theseus" Leta introduced "It's a pleasure to finally meet you properly, sir. I'm very sorry for all the trouble I've caused" Theseus apologized "If my daughter had never met you, she wouldn't have found love or happiness. That's all I've ever wanted for her" Phillip shook his hand "And please, call me Phillip" Leta smiled at two of her favorite men in her life "Well, shall we celebrate?" Theseus suggested and Leta nodded. She missed the ball last time because she had decided she didn't want to participate. Now she was to going to give up the opportunity. They all nodded. Later on in the evening, the celebration just begun. Madame de Garderobe sang and Maestro was pn the piano. It was just like it all was before. It was perfect.
"Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong"
Clothilde held on tightly to Cogsworth, who was trying to get her off of him. Leta smiled and laughed "Do you see them?" Leta asked Theseus. Theseus laughed "Indeed I do. Feel like he kind of deserves it" Leta hit his arm lightly and he laughed at her. He kissed her nose. She scrunched up her nose and kissed his lips "Was that not enough for you?" Theseus teased "No, but you're all I'll ever need. I love you" Leta spoke softly "I love you too" Theseus kissed her again. Belle watched from beside her father. She was happy her best friend found love. Though it may not have been in the most traditional way,
she knew she was happy.
"Winter turns to spring
Famine turns to feast
Nature points the way
Nothing left to say
Beauty and the Beast"
Leta looked at Theseus quizzically "What? What is it?" He asked her "How would you feel about growing a beard?" Leta asked and he growled at her. She laughed at him. They stopped in the middle of the dance floor and kissed.
Everyone watched in awe of the couple. LeFou stood there and Stanley walked up beside him and offered to dance with him. They were all happy and love was everywhere you looked.
"Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast"
