This movie was a mind-fuck. I honestly kinda enjoyed it though. At first it started off as a joke and I kept getting distracted then it got interesting and I couldn't stop watching. Also, the guy that plays the bye-bye man also portrayed Billy Butcherson which is something I thought was neat.

Here's the google explanation:

People commit unthinkable acts every day. Time and again, we grapple to understand what drives a person to do such terrible things. But what if all of the questions we're asking are wrong? What if the cause of all evil is not a matter of what, but who? When three college friends stumble upon the horrific origins of the Bye Bye Man, they discover that there is only one way to avoid his curse: don't think it, don't say it. But once the Bye Bye Man gets inside your head, he takes control.

I recommend this because it doesn't sound like something you'd watch. It sounds childish but I think that's something that really sold it for me. Sadly, the director—Stacy Title—of this movie did pass away so it's unlikely that there'll be any future sequels. It did insinuate there might be one and they published a trailer for it. Although, I don't think they finished it because of Stacy passing away.
