I never really understood this version of the movie. The neighbor was an asshole. In the original it was a little boy that died. Not a girl.
I did enjoy the movie but I guess they were just trying to rewrite it in a newer way. I enjoyed the older one more than this one though.
Also they didn't do a good job with including the 'guardian angel' in the movie. They made him more intimidating. He's supposed to be nice and helpful. They went off topic in this movie and I wouldn't recommend it. Just watch the old one on Netflix, you're welcome.
