I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't anything too amazing, but still the effort and effects put in were incredible. Especially Linda Blair in the movie. So iconic. But I just feel bad about what injuries she had to endure during this movie.

I recommend it for people that can sit still and watch a movie. I, for one, I could not sit still and watch this movie all the way through again if I tried. Other that the extension of the movie it's really well put together. (Kinda gory, vomit, decaying flesh {that's what it looks like, I'm not sure})

Google explanation:

One of the most profitable horror movies ever made, this tale of an exorcism is based loosely on actual events. When young Regan (Linda Blair) starts acting odd -- levitating, speaking in tongues -- her worried mother (Ellen Burstyn) seeks medical help, only to hit a dead end. A local priest (Jason Miller), however, thinks the girl may be seized by the devil. The priest makes a request to perform an exorcism, and the church sends in an expert (Max von Sydow) to help with the difficult job.
