Tonight we dance
Under the bright lights and the watchful eyes
Posture perfection with perfect precaution
Clean lines and beautiful lies. The tried and true recipe for successing.
They watch they wait, waxing and waning as I carefully dance along this strange plane to the tempo of my own breath in step.
Double mooned, trouble tuned, certain doom as I await my fate
Fame, famine, chain, pain
How can something one once loved turn into the very same as their bane.
The lights turn off, they eyes close, the silhouettes fade. strange.
Whirlwind, breath rising, reverberating in my ears, my lungs, but I'm not breathing anymore I'm screaming.
Flash in flash out.
All red, dead in the head, oh soulless sleeper let your slumber grow deeper
Fangs dripping with saliva, faces ravenous for a meal to their taste.
My lies peel away like layers and my lines melt into warped sounding confines.
Bouncing, bounding and bubbling
I, We, Me, Us.
Lust, thrust, trust, encrust.
I am not awake, I am not asleep. I rip apart my own flesh to get rid of the sound of my own breath.
