Chapter 37 - The possessed Weasel Bandits

The Weasel Bandits had Alya cornered as she whimpered.

Alya begged, "Please don't hurt me. I-I-I...." one of the weasel Bandits said, "There will be plenty of hurt where we are taking you. GRAB HER!!"

Two of the weasel bandits were about to grab her as Alya screamed, "HELP!!"

Thats when a sudden spindash knocked them both out of the way. It was Sonic.

The blue hedgehog was in the way and said, "Hey bad enough you steal from villagers but harassing young girls? Don't you weasels have any chivalry!?"

One of the weasel bandits eyes turned a different color and said in a deep voice, "Ugh! You. Forgot this is your world."

Sonic looked closer and realized right away these Weasel Bandits were possessed, not by ghosts by some new type of Nightmaren that can possess people in different worlds to collect ideya.

Sonic muttered, "Guess Wizelight will haft to explain these new nightmarens. Right now I ain't letting them take her or her ideya."

One of the possessed Weasel Bandits said, "DESTROY THAT BLUE REBEL!!"

They nodded before Sonic attacked them with spindash. Though there were too many as he thought while continuing to attack, "I can't take them all. There's too many of them."

Sonic stood in front of Alya and said, "I AM NOT GONNA LET YOU TAKE HER!!"

One of the possessed weasel bandits said, "Today you will die! GET HIM AND TAKE THE GIRL!!" Another Weasel Bandit rushed towards him but before he could attack, a sound wave with a loud howl makes the weasel bandits fly back with a force.

Sonic and Alya turn to see Grey-Sky, Rika, Sonia, and Manic.

Grey-Sky said with a stern flare, "Hey ya butt-heads. Didn't you hear there's a no disturbing women rule? Well there is now!!"

Sonic sighed and said, "Good to know you guys here."

Manic chuckled and replied to his little brother, "We came out to have lunch at Ming-Pings rice bowl and already it's happening in the day."

Sonic whispered to him, "The Nightmarens somehow possessed those bandits and they are after Alya."

Manic whispered back, "Wouldn't surprise me a bit baby bro. Let's kicks some possessed weasel butt!" Sonic nodded in agreement before they stood in a battle position.

One of the weasel bandits tried to attack Rika but she used neon-color spear on him.

A second weasel bandit tried to sneak attack Grey-Sky but the wolf howled loudly for the weasel bandit to fly back with a force.

A third bandit said as he rushed to stab her, "Ya know I really think you be beautiful dead."

Sonia replied as she kicked him in the crotch painfully, "I say you be kicked off that compliment." A fourth Weasel bandit was going to attack but got hit by Manics hover board.

Manic chuckled and said, "You suck at ducking dude." The weasel bandit leader said as he walked to Sonic and Alya with a knife, "Now hand over the girl and we will leave."

Sonic simply shouted, "NO!!" The weasel bandit leader snarled before he could stab him, Sonic punched him hard.

The weasel bandit leader growled as Sonic said and hold on to Alya, "There is no way in the world I can let you take her. As a hero I will do what I will do in my power to protect the people in this village. But as a prince it's my duty to protect my subjects and my people. As a warrior of the night I will fulfill my friends battle and win. SO YOU ALL WILL BE HISTORY BUSTER!!"

The weasel bandit leader growled but that's when a Knuckles came out of nowhere and punched him. Sonic simply said, "Knuckles..."

the red echidna looked at him and said, "Didn't think you be in a battle without us will you??"

Sonic shook his head no before Tails used his new invention the bandit catcher and shot it at the Bandit as a rubber band wrapped itself around the bandit. Not long after Sticks and Amy joined the fight.

Amy used her hammer to knock out a few bandits while Sticks took care of the rest of them. As the battle finished everyone cheered on.

Sonic walked to him and said, "Hey you okay??" Alya replied, "I'm okay Sonic. I didn't know why but I was scared stiff."

Sonic then said, "Well that's just one thing. If ya battled egghead and mocked him then we both be kicking him to the ocean."

Alya chuckled as Knuckles chuckled quietly. That's when Sonia walked to him and said, "Hey Sonic? Can I have a talk with you?"

Sonic nodded before Sticks appeared and asked, "Hey who's this prim puffball?"

Sonia said in an offensive tone, "Excuse me!?" Sonic replied, "Sticks that's my older sister."

Sticks raised a brow before looking at Sonia and said, "Looks more like Amy's sister than yours."

Sticks walked off as Sonia asked, "Does she even have one measly manner in that jungle girl body of hers?"

Sonic replied with a dull tone, "Not in a life time sis." Alya went to Rika and talked to her as Sonic said, "What are we going to do big sis? If they wake up they'll go after Alya and everyone."

Sonia replied, "I'll haft to make sure they stay asleep until they get set free."

Manic then butted in, "Maybe it's a good time to tell Wizelight."

Sonic and Sonia agreed before the three sighed. Knuckles looked at Sonic and whispered, "I'll find out why your sad Sonic. I love you. I wish I could tell you in person."

<later at night>

Hollia stood before the weasel bandits and used a spell on the weasel bandits.

Hollia said, "There that should do." Hollia looked at the siblings and said, "I thank you for telling me and Lord Wizelight about this. No doubt Mallaura is determined. Didn't think they would come in the day time."

Sonic asked, "So you're suggesting for us to be on our guard?"

Hollia nodded and said, "Listen Fast One. Naushuo is still on the prowl. But I need to give you a bit of advice. The only way to defeat Naushuo is to destroy his persona. It's a whole lot different than Reala's persona. All you need to do is slice it in half."

Sonic nodded before he sensed Naushuo in the woods and said, "Guys I sensed Naushuo. Hollia go back to the dream gate, sibs head back to the inn and look after Alya is safe. I'll deal with Naushuo."

Manic said, "Be careful my bro." Sonic nodded. But that's when Sonic asked, "They won't remember this right?"

Hollia replied, "No they won't." Sonic said with a sigh, "What a relief. I'll be back." Sonic flew off as he transformed into his nightopia warrior form. Sonic said to himself, "I'm coming for you... ...Naushuo."
