Chapter 60 - Tired little brother

Sonic arrived back at his world, just in time for the sun rise. Though he was even more tired than before. He walked back to the inn slowly and wobbly. Sonic yawned and said to himself, "Oh man. I barely get any sleep. But it's a risk I haft to take. Oh man." He felt his head as he groaned. The cobalt hedgehog felt like he was on the verge of collapsing. He leaned on a tree and tried so hard to keep his eyes opened. That's when Sonic fell on his hands and knees as he was almost at the inn. Manic was at the porch all night waiting. When the green edgy hedgehog saw his brother he rushed towards him and said, "Sonic. You okay?" The blue hedgehog looked up to his big brother with tired eyes while trying to keep them open. Sonic said with tiredness in his tone, "Oh big bro. I feel so tired. I have a headache." Manic helped him up and headed to the porch. Once they reached the porch they both sat down. Sonic fell asleep on his older twin brothers lap and fell asleep. It reminded Manic how Sonic use to sleep on his lap when they were children. Sonia came out and sees her big brother petting their sleeping little brother on the head. Sonia smiled and mumbled to herself, "It's just too cute to look at. Sonic was a handful and still is but as a child he was adorable when he's not running around."

<meanwhile in the other dimension>

Alternate-Sonic arrived to his world and yawned as he stretched. The blue hedgehog arrived at his home, seeing Alternate-Manic on the couch. He then said, "Ahh. Welcome back little brother. You look a bit tired." Alternate-Sonic replied as he sat on the couch next to him, "You always know how to wait up big brother. But yes I'm a little tired. I gotta go take a little nap before long." Manic pats his shoulder and replied, "Please go on ahead Sonic. I won't stop you." Alternate-Sonic yawns before he laid down. Alternate-Manic looked down at him and thought, "I guess it couldn't hurt to take a nap myself. We got tea and cake in a few hours and a violin duet this afternoon after all." Thats when Alternate-Manic laid next to his brother and fell asleep. That's when Alternate-Sonia skipped into the living room and looked at her brothers. She then said to herself out loud, "Hahahah. Dude they're like sleeping turtles when they ain't acting like upper-class bummers." Alternate-Sonic said, "Sister dearest please keep it down." Alternate-Manic then said, "We are trying to take a nap here. So please be quiet." The two brothers went back to sleep as Alternate-Sonia shrugged and walked out.
