Chapter 64 - Dinner Under The Moonlight

It was hard, but Knuckles wanted to make sure everything is perfect. Dinner renovations have been completed and Knuckles was dressed decent (Mostly to impressed Sonic)z Though he had to impress Sonic at most. But mostly as an apology for everything Amy did. Though jealous of the attention Sonic gives to the mysterious Alya, he wanted to give Sonic and his siblings and real nice dinner.

Once the three arrived, Knuckles walked them to their table. The three sat down just before Knuckles did. Sonic couldn't help but notice they were underneath the moonlight. Sonic was not really comfortable, if he is under the moonlight, chances are his nightmaren side is revealed. Sonic whispered to Manic, "Bro. I need to seat away from the moonlight. It's revealing some of my white quills." Manic sees it and he knows right away this isn't good. Sonia whispered, "This isn't good. We better hope anyone doesn't noticed." Sonic whispered back, "I gotta stay out of the moonlight. Other wise Im revealed." Manic then pulled out a vest with a hoodie  and said, "Here put this on. It will shield you from the moonlight." Sonic puts it on and said, "Thanks big bro."

Manic smiled and nodded. That's when Knuckles 'who went to the drink bar to get the four some drinks' came back and looked to see Sonic in a hoodie. Knuckles asked in confusion, "Uhhh, did I miss anything?" Manic shook his head and said, "Oh no. Just us siblings talking." Knuckles raised a brow but he coulda sworn that he saw Sonic with ocean blue eyes. Knuckles shrugged and said, "Okay?"

Dinner was really divine though Knuckles couldn't help but feel a little weirded out that Sonic is a little bit nervous. Knuckles then said to break the silence, "So, I'm really sorry about Amy's behavior. She was just jealous is all." Sonia replied, "There's nothing wrong with being a little jealous but aggressive jealousy is bad for her. Remember how you were when you were jealous?" Knuckles replied to her, "I rather not and plus you and I were a thing in the past, Sonia." Sonia nodded before Manic crossed his arms and said, "Dude, it's best if you tell her to don't do anything stupid ever again." Knuckles nodded in agreement. Though when Sonic sees the moonlight is in position, he stood up and said, "Dinner was great Knux, thanks. I gotta get going, see you." Sonic speeds off.

Knuckles was gonna say something but he was too late. Knuckles asked Manic, "Why was he in a hood? Did he catch a cold?" Sonia walked off as Manic said, "Hmm.. something like that. He had a bit of a chill earlier from the wind. It really made him cold." Knuckles raised a brow in suspicion. It wasn't even cold today, nor was the wind this cold. He knows somethings up.
