Peyton's Pov

It was the day after the whole Jeremy's short-lived death and I am at the school on the weekend helping Bonnie and Elena set up a stupid school carnival. I should be home asleep in bed but Elena forced me to go with her and Bonnie. She didn't want me or Jeremy to be alone in the house after what happened last night so she guilt-tripped me into helping her set up the school carnival that Caroline had been planning for months. I wasn't really doing much I was mostly following Elena and Bonnie around as they set up booths forth games. Honestly, if Caroline was here she would be telling everyone that what they were doing was wrong and none of the booths were in the right place. She probably would have yanked the clip bored right out of Elena's told her something snarky and bitch and would have taken complete control over the whole carnival. I swear that girl is the stereotypical cheerleader captain. We all stopped at this one booth to look it over to make sure it had enough prizes when Bonnie started to bring up Kathrine. Can we have one day without talking about vampires?

"Kathrine looked just like you Elena it was freakish."

Elena let out a frustrated sigh while taking notes on her clipboard."She is my ancestor. Hey, I moved the student booth to the cafeteria" Elena clearly did not want to get into this. We ended up moving on to another booth.

But bonnie couldn't drop it. " Your vampire ancestor and she didn't just resemble you like a family member would." She said while pointing at me." she was you."

"I don't--I don't know Bonnie. I can't explain it. Ok? It's creepy. It's all I got" Bonnie really needs to take a hint and change the subject already. 

"Well, how do you know she's still not out there pretending to be you?" Well, Bonnie clearly can't read a room.

"I don't, but I can't just sit here and be tortured by the not knowing, or I could get these prizes to the ringtoss booth." Well hopefully by Elena changing the subject Bonnie will talk about something else.

" Well, have you two talked to Damon since he killed Jeremy or-- or tried to kill Jeremy." Why is she like this?

Elena just looked even further annoyed "No, Bonnie I haven't, and I won't same goes for Peyton. Neither of us wants to talk to him ever again. Most of all I really don't want to talk about anything related to vampire stuff right now, Ok?" Yep, Bonnie took it a little too far.

Bonnie then turned to look at me." I haven't talked to him nor do I think he wants to talk to me after what I did to him after he hurt Jeremy."

"What did you do?" Bonnie asked. I want in the mood to go over the whole power thing with her yet because she will ask a million questions and I am already annoyed by her instance to talk about Kathrine and Damon. I love this girl but she really needs to stop pressing on touchy topics.

"Don't worry about it whatever happened just happened. Just know that  I am on the same boat with Elena can we all have a none vampire day please?"  I handed a bag of stuffed animals to Bonnie.

"Copy that." Bonnie said with a smile on her face. After that, I left to go back to the school to go hang up more decorations inside.
