Peyton's pov

A couple of days have passed since the whole Mason incident. Apparently, I wasn't the only one getting the special Mason treatment that day. He exposed Damon and Stefan to Caroline's mom Liz. She then shot them both and dragged them to the Lockwood dungeon down in the woods. She and two deputies tortured them for information but they never gave them anything. So Liz decided to just kill them but before that could happen Caroline and Elena saved them. The good part is Stefan and Damon are alive. The bad part is all three vampires have been outed to Caroline's mom the sheriff. I am just glad Damon dint kill her for trying to kill Stefan and him. She is currently staying well more like locked up in the Salvator's basement. Liz had to let the Vervain get out of her system so Damon could compel her to forget who the town's residential vampires were. After she forgets the events at the picnic she is free to go home. 

I wish she would at least talk to Caroline. She may be a vampire but she was still Liz's daughter. Liz is treating her like she is this foreign create who so happens to look like her daughter. You know what Caroline may have never been the nicest daughter but she is all that Liz has. That should mean something right.

Peyton's pov

I was now at the Lockwoods people were gathered to help set up for the annual masquerade ball. I would have skipped out but Aunt Jenna was in charge of the volunteers this year so skipping was not an option. I was currently helping Tyler and Matt unload old furniture into the house. They both got yelled at a couple of times by Tyler's mom because they kept crashing into things around them. I just kept laughing at them whenever they got scolded at.  After that, I took a break lugging heavy objects around a big mansion get exhausting after a while.

I was sitting outside getting some air when someone approached me. I looked up and saw it was Bonnie.

 "Hey, Peyton is Elena here yet I was hoping I would be able to catch up with her." She asked While looking around to see if she could spot my sister.

"Not that I know of Bonnie." I get up to go leave but she stops me from making my escape. 

"Why is everyone avoiding me? I mean I just lost Caroline I can't lose you and Elena too."

"Listen Bonnie I am not trying to be mean but were not the ones excluding you from the events that are going on in our lives. You chose to stay out of the vampire business and that is your choice to make. But the rest of us can't just turn our back on it.  If we do that then more people get hurt or the town may be set on fire or whatever other crap that might happen if we just turn a blind eye on anything that is vampire related."  I held up my hand to her signaling her to be quiet and took a deep breath before continuing.  "Another thing is you are not losing anyone either you're pushing them away. Caroline is still here she's just a vampire and because of that, you don't want to be around her. We are all here but you don't want to be around us when we're dealing with the latest Vampire issue. At the end of the day Bonnie we will always invite you to the party your just the one who declines the invitation. After that, I get up and walk away from the witch.

Peyton's pov

This day just keeps getting better and better. After my lovely talk with Bonnie Damon decided to join the fun. He informed me that Jeremy is now helping him with getting something called a moonstone from Mason.  This is moonstone is clearly something that Kathrine wants and the reason why she is currently in town. That is not even the end of our news update because Bonnie caught her kissing Mason.  At least we now know why he is here with Kathrine in the first place.  Kathrine is definitely using the mutt for the stone. That is why Damon tasked Bonnie and me to spy and knock out Mason. He wants to get some information out of the Werewolf so he needs me to distract him and Bonnie to take him down while he isn't looking.
