Peyton's pov

It's been a couple of days since we found out that Isobel turned Caroline into a vampire.  She's been cooped up in her house since then. I was with Stefan at the grill. We were at the grill trying to convince Bonnie to make her a daylight ring before she either destroyed her house or gets caught by her mom. The task is difficult but hey at least I wasn't Elena today. She went on a round trip with Damon and Ric. Damon thought the Lockwood family had a secret and thought Isobel might have something in her research back in her office. The thing that bugged me about it was Ric saying the only other thing that she studied about the town besides vampires was werewolves. The dream that I had when I was out cold was about a wolf lunging at me. That cant be related can it was it just a dream or was it something more? I was snapped out of my thought when I heard Bonnie start to speak.

"I don't know how to make a daylight ring."

"Emily made mine." He said showing her his ring "She made Damon's too. Instructions must be in the grimoire"

She shoke her head "Doesn't mean I can cast the spell"

I decided to pipe in "Uh, Bonnie you know how to drop vampires with a single look. Ok? I think you can figure it out."

" Stefan Peyton Caroline killed someone. I can't make it easier for her to do it again."

I was starting to get a little ticked off by the comment none of this is easy on Caroline she dint want to kill people. Her thirst made her lose control.

" No. We're not making it easier for her. Were just giving her a chance to survive." Thank you Stefan for having some comments senses. " Listen every day that she's cut off from her old life from you, Peyton, Elena, and Matt. It'll make it that much harder for her to hold on to her humanity."

"And how do you know she won't hurt anyone else?

"I don't. But if we don't do everything we can to help her or at least trust the fact that she can keep it together, we might aswell stake her now."

I just glared at Stefan.

"I don't know if I can trust her. Not with this"

"Then trust me." Stefan said trying to get the witch in our corner.

I swear to god if she doesn't say yes soon I am going to start tearing her a new one. Caroline is her friend. She wouldn't even be a vampire if Elena and her didn't give Damon the ok to give his blood to heal.

Peyton's pov

Stefan finally got Bonnie on board to make her a daylight ring and we are now at the old watering hole on Tyler's family property. We were there because Caroline wanted to go see Matt and Stefan thought it was a good idea. then the first thing Caroline did was bite a girl's head off for flirting with Matt not literally but you get the point. we were all just walking around and enjoying the sun. Caroline tried to go off and give it a go at trying to talk to Matt again. So that just left Stefan and me alone together to talk.

"You have been fully quiet. Is everything ok? You not having second guesses about Caroline?" Stefan asked.

"Uh, no no I a fully on board with helping Caroline. She's a bit much but she'll get used to being a vampire eventually. That's not what's been on my mind."

"Well, that what is it then?" Stefen asked. He was genuinely concerned about what seemed to be on my mind.

"This whole werewolf thing." I figured Stefan was the best person to go to talk this out with so why not just get it off my chest.

"What's bugging you about it? I mean the whole werewolf  thing is probably nothing but a legend."

"After the accident during the founder's day mess I had a new strange dream that seemed too real." I took a breath." I was in the woods and a wolf lunged at me. Now a couple of days later were talking about werewolves don't you think that's a bit too coincidental Stefan. "

"Why didn't you tell us about this yesterday when we all talking about it at the boarding house?" Stefan asked now sounding a bit more concerned. I was about to answer him when his phone went off. He told me to stay and went to take the call. A few seconds later he came funding back over to me. "Weres Caroline we have to get out of here now!"

"She with Matt over by the truck with the..." I turned around and saw they were both gone." Well, they were there a few minutes ago. What's going on Stefan?!"

"Elena just called me she found that werewolves can kill vampires with a bit."

"And let me guess tonight is a full moon?" 

"Yep. We have to get Caroline and get the hell out of here now Peyton!"

"Ok, let's go find her then." After that, we ran off to go look for her and Matt in the woods.

Peyton's pov

Stefan and I decided to split up he went in one direction and I went in another.  Why did I agree to leave the vampire who is basically a literal shield I have no idea. were the help is Caroline and Matt going this deep into the forest at night isn't a good idea even when there are no supernatural creatures in it.  

I was about to take another step when something rushed by me I looked into the direction of where it came from and saw nothing. I turned around and was scared half to death by a random figure who just snuck up on me.

I jumped and landed on the floor. I looked up and saw that it was just Tyler.

"Damit Tyler!  You scared the crap out of me!" 

"Dude why the hell are you all the way out here?"

" Caroline wondered off with Matt. Stefan and I were supposed to drive her home She left her phone in Stefan's car so now we're trying to figure out where the love birds went." I said while trying to catch my breath. It wasn't totally a lie I just left out the part about the werewolf.

"Ok, well they couldn't have gotten out this far common let's go find them." Tyler then bent over and yanked me up off the floor.  I was about to say thank you when I started to hear someone screaming. After that Tyler and I ran in the direction of where it was coming from.

Once we got there I saw Stefan holding onto Caroline and next to them was Matt on the ground bleeding.

"What's going on? What the hell are you guys doing out here?" Tyler asked as he was walking toward the two vampires.

"What are you doing here?" Stefan asked back. What a crapy way to deflect Stefan. 

The question was never answered as this big ass creature leaped out of the woods and pinned Caroline to the ground. 

It was a wolf, a wolf that was growling viciously and bearing its gigantic canine teeth at her. This thing looked like it wanted to rip her head off. She was screaming trying to get it off of her. Stefan ran towards the wolf and tackled it riping it off of Caroline. It was about to go for Stefan when Tyler intervened.

"No!" Tyler just yelled at it and it stopped. The wolf stared angrily at Tyler for what felt like an eternity. It let out one more vicious growl and took off. Leaving everybody speechless.
