Hours later, the work was done. I finally finished with my lifelong quest: to save the world from my own foolishness.
I was at home, having my dinner with nobody at the dinner table except for Maximus, my pet lizard. Fork in my right, lizard on my left palm. I was lost in thought, wondering about the fate of my wife whom I had seen twice a week despite the workload and pressure upon me.
Yet, I was overjoyed that I successfully ensured that the future of Earth would brighten once more. I remembered the two legends: past and present who granted me power and the last three words they seared with in my mind.
Suddenly, my phone rang. I answered the phone.
'Hello father, Angela speaking'
'What's wrong? You sound troubled'
'I have a message for you'
'What?
'You must get to the hospital! Hurry!', she replied with urgency.
I left the dining room and entered the car. Maximus was in the cage looking at the outside world through the window as I rushed to the hospital.
Thoughts of desperation swirled in my head. Butterflies zipped in my stomach. Despite all of this, my will surged across my blood vessels. No longer that weakling who destroyed time for the sake of a woman's problems. The power given hours ago rushed within me. Determined to find the truth about my wife's fate, I hurried to North West London Hospital thanks to the GPS.
The Three Fates observed the cords of Bob and his wife's lives carefully.
Suddenly the cords twisted each other. No external force caused it to occur, causing a mysterious change.
Bob's fate was unknown whether he would save his wife or not. What is his wife's fate?
