Monday came.

I was busy working , labouring as usual. My mind was focused, determined to hope that the best was about to manifest. I know that I spoke my mind yesterday at the Grand Hall.  I am still concerned at the fact that the States may send bounty hunters my way, or assassins.

I was at my desk, writing and calculating mathematical matters while making research and getting results for other teams like astrophysics, technology, etc.

As I was still working, my computer let out a notification. I checked my emails and clicked on the new mail.

It showed the following:

Greetings Sir Bob

Your creation of the antidote has been tested and has been proven worthy of human consumption.

Kind regards

Mrs. Lee

Presidential Specialist Researcher of Medicine.

My heart raced for joy. My eyes gleamed like bright emeralds in the night sky. My very body became full of life and excitement.

Finally, the mission which I had devoted myself for nearly a decade has been completed!

I thought of the times when I was down, wishing that I was never born. I remisinced of the days when my willpower and body were put to the test. The memories of the past played on mentally just like a movie.

A metallic cold touch winced on my skin. A muffled voice with affirmation behind it spoke behind my back.

'Congratulations. You have truly been worthy of being a hero to the world', it said.

'Thank you good sir', I replied.

'Sir Gawain is my name', the metal covered figure spoke.

I smiled, remembering the legend of the man who lived in the Arthurian ages who was worthy of being trusted.

Another figure stood behind me, next to Sir Gawain. It was the monk whom I had a fuss with a long time ago. The bald headed man smiled sincerely at me, his eyes gleaming to white and just placed his thumb to my forehead, granting me a vast level of energy. Sir Gawain placed a sheathed blade in my palms.

After receiving these gifts, the two vanished, saying, 'Use them well'

At lunch, I thought to myself,

The antidote was worthy of human use. At last, my name is redeemed for good.
