Changing Fate

Chapter 3

Kakashi's Point of View:

It was a normal day like any other. I was recuperating at my apartment from an Anbu mission when Anbu Raven appeared.

"The Hokage is summoning you," Raven states and disappears.

That's weird. Why did the Hokage send an Anbu when he could have contacted me through my Anbu tattoo. Unless what he is calling me for isn't an Anbu-related discussion. But that doesn't make sense. What else would he call me for? Raven was also acting a bit off. He seemed excited, but why? What could have happened for Raven to seem so emotional. I get off my couch and close my book. I walk to my room and see the Genin photo of Sensei, Obito, Rin, and me.

"Sensei, Obito, Rin, why do I get a feeling that something strange is going on?" I say.

I look at the clock hanging on the wall and realize that I am going to be 30 minutes late. But I can't help my curiosity. Something is going on, and I need to know what. I quickly change into my Jonin outfit and head towards the Hokage tower. I enter through the window and hear,

"Mito Uzumaki was the wife of the first Hokage. She kept records of each Clan and their bloodlines. After she died she passed it down to my father who was her nephew," A female voice says.

"That makes sense," The Hokage states.

So this unknown female is related to Mito Uzumaki. But I don't see how this is all related to me.

"Hokage you called," I say.

"Kakashi how many times have I told you to use the door! Also you're 30 minutes late!" The Hokage scolds.

"Ma Ma I'm here now ain't I," I reply.

I watch as the female turns toward me, and I freeze. She looks identical to Sensei. Her long blond hair and her bright blue eyes are identical to Sensei. She is of average height. Looking closer, I also notice the red streaks running through her hair. But why does this female look so much like Sensei? None of this makes sense!

"So this is Hatake-san," The Female says.

"Hokage who is this?" I ask, wanting to know if she is somehow related to my Sensei.

"Arashi Namikaze Uzumaki half sister to Minato Namikaze," Arashi says.

Half-sister? When did Minato Sensei have a sister, and why didn't he tell me?

"Half sibling?" I question.

"Same mother different fathers," Arashi explains.

So did Arashi come here to meet Minato Sensei? Does she know he died or not? I want to know more about this mysterious female.

"Anyways Kakashi, you are to take Arashi to meet her nephew Naruto. They both will be living with you," The Hokage states.

Wait! What? Live with Minato Sensei's sister and Naruto?! What is the Hokage thinking!

"Don't I need to sign documents so I can take care of Naruto without the council bothering me?" Arashi asks.

"Ahhh, yes there are a few documents. Here sign this," The Hokage states and hands her the documents.

I can't believe this is real. Naruto is getting a family who is his aunt. But I can't seem to believe Sensei hid his sister from us. But if the Hokage identified her, that means she is. But why is she here now? Why didn't she come before? Did she not know about Naruto?

"Also I will need Hatake-san to guide me to the Namikaze compound because I don't remember where it was," Arashi says.

So she has been to Sensei's home before when she was younger.
