Wanda woke up in the middle of the night crying loudly. She had a bad dream. The little could not remember what about but it had been enough to make big Wanda cry in the dream so little Wanda sobbed along with her, unable to think clearly in her fear and confusion. She remembered not wanting to be left alone, and weeping continually to keep Natasha with her. But the woman had been too calming and she had been lulled to sleep.

The little was awake and alone now, both of which she did not want. Then Natasha came swooping into the room, "What's the matter, baby? What's wrong?"

"Asha.." She wailed and the woman was lifting her up and holding her close.

"I'm here, detka." The Widow ran a hand up and down her back, "I'm here."

Wanda shuddered in tears for a minute, but her cries faded with Natasha swaying and rubbing her back. When she was quiet, Nat asked, "What's wrong sweetheart?"

"Scary-y deam." She rasped out.

"You had a scary dream?" The spy sounded deeply sympathetic, "I'm sorry honey.. What can I do to make it better?"

"Asha.." The little nuzzled her cheek into Nat's collarbone.

"Do you want to come stay with me tonight?" The woman asked.

Wanda nodded, having already decided she wouldn't let Natasha put her down like before. Nat then asked, "Do you need a change before we go lay down?"

Wanda felt her fingers slip into the back of her diaper to check for wetness but she was dry so Nat carried her back to her bedroom. She laid Wanda down in the bed first, picking up the pacifier that had ended up on her nightstand and pressing it to the little's lips. The girl pulled it into her mouth and started a rhythmic sucking, eyes already drooping with sleep.

When Nat got in the bed, Wanda automatically snuggled up to her, practically laying completely on Nat's torso, the woman wrapping her arms around her. The little whined behind her pacifier, still feeling overwhelmed.

"Sh, sh, sh.." Natasha responded, sliding one hand down to pat her padded bottom. The steady tapping helping her sink that last little bit into a relaxed state. The little witch drifted back off into a nice, dreamless sleep.

Natasha woke up with a little weight still snugly on her chest and she sighed with contentment and relief. When Wanda had woken up bawling in the middle of the night and needing to come sleep with her, a part of the Widow had been worried that the little's sleep would be disrupted by her nightmares as Nat had still been having them nearly every night. But she couldn't put much thought into it in the dead of night when she was more worried about soothing the girl. And it had been alright in the end, she hadn't had a dream with Wanda cuddled up to her.

Then the Sokovian began to shift, preparing to wake up herself and Nat rubbed her back to ease her into it, "Good morning, detka."

Wanda hummed and blinked her eyes open, for once not waking up in distress. She pulled away a bit shyly and said softly, "Mo'nin' Tasha."

The woman was a little surprised at the presence of the 't' in her name and her words were a little clearer than yesterday. She say up helping the girl sit up with her, "Did you sleep okay sweetie?"

Wanda nodded rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Nat replied, "Good.. How's your bottom?"

"Wet. Sorry.." The little's cheeks flushed.

"That's okay baby. Let's get you changed." The woman said easily, having Wanda lay back down as she went to get a fresh diaper and the wipes. Natasha started, tugging her sweatpants off and asking questions to distract her, "Can you tell me how old you are Wanda?"
