Chapter seven

Adrian P.O.V

I knocked on Dr.Kingston's door."Come in",he said as I opened the door."Ohhh,it's you Adrian",he said as he chuckled."I have a response to your request,sir",I told him."I'm honored to be your assistant and I hope to serve you better",I added smiling."That's good,boy",he said clapping."Welcome boy"He told me smiling ,"Let's go say hi to  her",Dr.Kingston said he stood up.I followed him into elevator to the 14th floor.The floor is meant for VVIPs only.The elevator opened and we walked to Room 16.They were body guards hovering around the door.I followed Dr.Kingston but they didn't allow me to go in."Calm down boys,he's one of us now",he said.They made way for me,I hurriedly followed him inside.They were series of passcodes before the door opened.We walked inside the room;it was painted white and very big too than my apartment."Go say hi to her",Dr.Kingston told me as he moved to where the computer was.I walked up to her and she was asleep."Hello miss",I said and bowed slightly.She didn't move an inch."She wouldn't respond cause she's on drugs that wouldn't make her stay awake",Dr.Kingston said and chuckled."Her adopted brother made her this way and who can blame him,he didn't want this sister of his to inherit everything."Zayn pays a lot to me to keep this buried",Dr.Kingston cackled and hit me hard"Stupid boy,you thought you'd be given everything for free?,there's a price  too"."Anyone who knows about this would be killed if things goes wrong",he continued as I remained silent ."We know everything about you since you're now one of us.If you make a wrong move,your sister would be killed".
"It wouldn't happen sir",I assured him as I bowed."Good boy",he said chuckling."Let's leave now",he said as he patted my shoulder.
We went outside the door;"Look",Dr.Kingston said.I looked back and saw the CCTV cameras pointed to my directions ."Big boss is watching you,Adrian.Always watch your back",Dr.Kingston said finally."I would",I replied and walked away.
I took the elevator back to my office"What the hell just happened?",I thought as I walked into the office I shared with Jack.Jack wasn't around so I sat down thinking hard.Someone then knocked."Come on in",I said as Jasmine walked in "Good morning,Ad",She greeted smiling at me warming."Hey Jasmine",I replied wondering what she was here for.
"Dr.Kingston told me to inform you that your new office is at the 13th floor.He called it the special treatment",She added and left.So a new office and what next in exchange of knowing about the lady
in Room 16.
I left my office and went into the new office on the 13th floor as Jasmine had stated.I opened the door and my heart skipped a bit"Whoa",I whispered to myself.The office was very big and it was big enough to contain six people working conveniently.It was heavily furnished and has a magnificent view.I could see almost the whole of dublin from here.I looked around and sat on the chair;it was very comfortable and all.I closed my eyes and sighed .Things are slowly getting out of hands;someone has been locked up in a room for four years and someone was threatened if he let the cat of the bag.My phone rang and I groaned deciding not to pick the call if it was some surgeons who needed my help.They're being paid lots of money to make sure the patients doesn't die and they look for younger,skilled surgeons to clean their mess as they care more about their position than performing the surgery themselves.I looked at the Caller's ID;It was Dr.Stevens;Nina's doctor."Hello,Dr.Stevens",I greeted warmly."Hello,Adrian",came the reply.
"You're in the hospital",he asked."Yeah,I'm",I replied."Any problem ?",I asked starting to get worried."You need to rush to her ward right away,Nina's unconscious.She collapsed in school today and her teacher rushed her to the hospital as soon as he could."What?",I yelled jumping out of the chair."I'd be there in a sec",I added hanging up.
"Nothing must be wrong with Nina",I said as I ran as fast as I could
