Chapter Twenty

Adrian P.O.V.

"Adrian",Nina called me out of my thoughts."what's wrong",she asked worriedly."Nothing much,I'm just wondering about how much longer we have to stay here",I told Nina with a smile."I have a feeling Zayn would be caught sooner than we think",Nina replied me sitting close to me."I hope so",I replied Nina patting her head."Let's go check up on Tori",Nina said standing up."Sounds like you like her already",I said with a smile."Yeah,I like her cause she's really cool,she's not like that rich,spoilt kids I know",Nina added."Nah,she's not arrogant",I said agreeing with Nina."You look interested in her though Ad ",Nina said smirking at me."What?",I said avoiding Nina's gaze."You like her,it's so obvious",Nina said raising her brows at me "I don't know what you're talking about ",trying to act normal."Adrian's in love ",Nina sang,"stop it Nina",I said covering my ears.
"C'mon Ad,admit you're in love with Tori already",Nina pressed."Fine,I'm in love with her",I said to Nina as Tori opened the door.
"Yay,you're in love with Tori",Nina sang not knowing Tori was there.Tori cleared her throat as I and Nina looked at her in shock."Um,I made dinner for us",Tori said."I didn't mean to eavesdrop so you can continue",she added and left.I didn't miss her smile as she left."What have you done,Nina",I whined."Stop being a cry baby,you love her",Nina said as she left my room.I changed my outfit and went downstairs for dinner.I sat down and watched how Tori served dinner She avoided my gaze and I cringed inside.I gave Nina a look of 'I'd make you pay for this' and she blew her tongue at me."Thank you",I said to Tori as we all dug in to eat.Dinner was delicious and now I was nervous about how Tori must have felt she heard me confess my feelings about her.I'm just a doctor and she's a multibillionaire,we were so different.It was so obvious.
Nina's eyes were on me telling me to confess my feelings to Tori right away.I cleared my throat and moved to where Tori sat down.Nina greeted Tori goodnight and left for her room.I hadn't confessed my feelings to a woman before."Tori,can we talk",I started.She looked up from the dishes she was cleaning ans looked up at me."Um,I know I'm way out of your league",I started "and I'm bad at taking hints too.I actually like being around you and all.I haven't felt that way around a woman before .I know we haven't met up to a year but I guess we can slow things down.I haven't been in love before but the truth I need you here with me and now that I've fallen for you,I don't want to let you go",I continued moving closer to Tori.
"I love you Tori",I finished waiting to hear the biggest rejection of my life.
"I feel the same way too",I looked up to see her smiling."You were cold and I was insecure and hurt.I couldn't risk falling for you but i did and seeing you sacrificing your job and life to make sure I was safe made me feel safe",she said touching my cheeks."I would love the rest of my life with you,I love you Adrian",she finished.I overwhelmed with Joy as i hugged her tightly,she returned the hug.
Then she kissed me and for a moment,I was stunned.I returned the kiss deeply and I carried her in my arms and dropped her on the kitchen slab and continued kissing her.I stopped to look into her eyes"You're now mine,Tori",I said smiling at her,"Yeah I'm all yours",Tori replied.Nina came out for the room "so you're together officially?",she asked with a smirk."Yeah",Tori replied with a smile."Yay,I'm so happy",Nina said and danced around us."I like the sound of that",she added.We all laughed at how Nina reacted.Tori and I would fight together arm in arm
